lso in this update are two very important new technologies, one of which is tactical numbers that can be customized before the mission. At the moment, it fully works on all Tank Crew tanks thanks to our partners at Digital Forms. P-51D-15 also got this capability for USAAF and RAF (it depends on the aircraft country specified in a mission) and it works on Nieuport 28.C1 too. Later this year we plan to enable it for all other aircraft (it takes a lot of work). The second new technology is Dynamic Visual Damage (DVD) that visualizes the hit marks from various projectiles on aircraft and tanks. Sadly that is no longer the case. The L-1649A was stopped by the corporate bean counters at Lufthansa. The aircraft was taken from Maine to Germany and is now in storage there with a rather certain future. But since the L-1649A was never meant to have it's wing removed there is no FAA approved procedure to do so. That means Lockheed would now have to come up with that....in order to make the airframe airworthy again. The cockpit rebuild was going to be a rather tasteful mix of old and new to keep the aircrafts historic side alive as well as fly in the 21st century airspace including pressurized flight trans ocean. All of which in hindsight was just too much at once. I would gladly pay 100$ for a MSFS version of the L-1649A .... not sure a DC6 is worth that much to me.

I have no problems whatsoever, you can check out my build in my signature. But I'm not flying at "ultra", I might say. Most of it is high and medium, and still quality is more than acceptable. Cheers, Priller

Check out this treasure trove of colour WWII pictures. On the right hand side half way down is a 222 Sqn Spitfire Vb being serviced. 222 were visited by a photographer in 1942 and several superb pics are extant. Hello MajorMagee, Could you please help a newbe at this by supplying the code sequence in the m3d file to hex edit for the ETO B-17"s ? I don't know what i'm looking for with just a "FF".Also have the same problem with the : ETO_P_47d_302_44 . Could you please look at that one as i think it has the same problem ? All other aircraft show up fine enough for me . Thanks for any help. Regards,Scott

Well, here's the VC fix instructions that I don't understand how to follow. I see that they were originally posted by Jamie, who is very much still with us. I remembered Jeff D's handle verbally, but I couldn't remember how he spelled it! Maybe the VC fix will also fix the prop. If not, maybe you or Jamie can adapt the process to do that. I hope so!
