Test flying or getting used to this beast. Bit of a slug as expected with lots of quirks for the era. The PIlot's scenario for Laguardia puts you on one side of the airport near a jetty, the opposite side to where the Marine Terminal was. I found an older FSX scenery for Laguardia that had the Pan Am Marine Terminal modelled and tried that. World has changed so getting out of the narrow bay and into open water was ok but fraught. Overall scenery works ok and looks better than the default Laguadia which does have the marine terminal well sort of , some flattens to do that is all. Think the default scenery for NYC is well ordinary! Flypast the Terminal at Laquardia Down the Hudson

I just looked it up. Looks like they also have a high-end (literally) restaurant up there.

I don't have CFS2, but just wanted to share a memory. In 1969, I was 16 yrs old, and was at a grand opening of a bank that my dad was a manager for. Capt. Eddie Rickenbacher was at the opening, autographing copies of his autobiography. I still have my copy on my bookshelf..... NC

That's a shame. I really like PR's work. I wonder why this function, common to all 109's, was left out of his original models. Kurt, I'll check out Team Daedalus' work but I'm not sure if they are MLD with high framerates. I have also modified PR's AIR file to be more to my liking and I'd hate to have to start that trial and error work all over again.

A new entry has been added to Add-Ons Library, category CFS 2 Campaigns Add-Ons Description: Captain Eddie V. Rickenbacker was the most successful American fighter ace of World War I, with 26 aerial victories. In the Rickenbacker Campaign, you will fly 24 Captain Rickenbacker's combat missions with the USAS 94th Aero Squadron, against Germany in the skies over Europe. Although America's involvement in the war was much shorter than the French and English, the American aviators still made a fighting reputation for themselves. The campaign is designed to complement / integrate with the Aerocrate WWI theater. To check it out, rate it or add comments, visit Eddie Rickenbacker Fighting the Flying Circus Campaign The comments you make there will appear in the posts below.

Soviet era... check. Amphibian... check. Looks a little like the PBM Mariner... check. I would say sign me up, but I kinda already did. I've kept myself busy flying the MDLX version since it released on Simviation almost a week ago (helped distract me from the side effects of my covid shot). I can't say I'm normally impressed when it comes to the contact points on flying boat addons, but bravo to whomever did the float points for this bird! You could say they were on point... I'll see myself out now.

Well I'm back. There were updates in my Content manager this time! I'm all updated and have the same problem with double taxi way signage as reported above. :banghead: I did however see (3) tall monolith towers near the city center (2) were round and (1) was square. I also saw a couple of wind turbine towers that looked to be in odd locations ... and a couple of A.I. vehicles going up and down Rotterdam city center buildings! My Content manager now says that I have 32 items that are not installed. They range from the Aerosoft CRJ, the AFC Bridge ( for my Honeycomb Apha & Brovo units) to payware sceneries, freeware sceneries and a few aircraft repaints .... but they are all there and functioning properly as tested so far. I did not empty my Community folder before this update. Do...

So the solution for P3D is that this needs to be changed in the model with MCX? Yikes. Any tutorials on how to do this? thx, dl

From testing of Earl Watkins' "Adams" Class destroyer in P3D v4 we (Team SDB) found that P3D doesn't handle coordinates in effects the same as FSX. In fact it seemed that it didn't at all. So we had to change the attachment point of the two smoke effects to be at the individual smoke stacks rather than a single point with the offset built into the effect. We made the adjustment using MCX. Hope this helps. :ernaehrung004:
