Yes indeed. Peter has kindly consented to helping me with the needed balloons for the Rickenbacker Campaign development as well as allowing me to use his WWI aircraft previously posted at Simviation. More later. :very_drunk:

I had just flown up there into GSO on a 737-200 just before that happened! That flight was a 737-400 that originated out of then Washington National (now Reagan-Washington National). I always wondered if they had a gear unsafe light for that main gear being stuck like that. That was during my Line PLST days. We refueled the Piedmont/US Air flights at ILM. After that incident, we were given additional safety briefings.

You're not missing much. Yeah it's eye candy and very powerful, but the Garmin lacks any serious RNAV (GPS) navigation ability. The flight model is NOT great either...very twitchy and the AP along with autothrottle is basically useless. It's challenging to control when handflown. I believe the real one is FBW and incredibly stable and wonderful to control.

If I'd known the citation had the Garmin package, I might have opted for the full-blown premium version.

On paper it looks the goods. Going to start the download now so perhaps 2021 I'll get it running !? :biggrin-new: ( blatant dig at internet speeds in Oz is blatant ). Personally looking forward to optimisation of the main sim ( currently it is pretty much a slide-show on my 4 year old beast! ) and the addition of HTML5 is something that is going to help us less high falutin' coders out there. Going to delve into the SDK while I wait for the download.

I have to say, that looks fantastic! As far as manufacturers are concerned, I like the little details. Like how the doors on a SAAB 900 cut into the sill to make entry and exit easier and less messy in the snow or the rear view mirror on my GTV6 isn't rectangular, but a trapezoid to perfectly frame the rear window. On the Fokker, I like how the instrument panel is offset to the right so the pilot can see through the nose glazing when taxying. (At least it looks like that's possible. I'll have to wait until I'm in the VC to know for sure!)
