Btw. I was a little concerned about painting signs under the canopy and yes, on the trailer its an issue with code number GZ-L. I never saw that letters are below on the closed canopy. http://members.madasafish.com/~d_hodgkinson/HHP-AE977.htm

Been sitting on these screens for a while now. These are waaaaay pre-release and before some of the model changes. But, I was experimenting with making new metal textures for it back then. If anyone has any questions about getting better results let let me know. MSFS uses essentially the same textures as DCS. Just named differently.

Doing an aircraft carrier (can you guess which class?)(WIP only at present) for the upcoming Seafires. Love how MSFS handles water.

Thanks Steve. Not compressing the zip file worked. 6 days running the make water .bat file. This probably would have been my last day of trying to get good water files. Probably would have put it away for a few weeks and clear my head. Qgis was helpful in finding invalid geometries, although the Qgis fixing geometry process was hit or miss at times. In the end fixing manually in the shp file worked out the best. I guess I just was real lucky 12 years ago with not having the Qgis tools to verify validity of the shp files.

https://web.archive.org/web/20100909165202/http://www.rolf-uwe-hochmuth.de/FS2004%20Probleme.htm I have shared the address of this particular archived webpage with Michael, and I wish to apprise the same to the community, because as I had initially concluded, and as Michael himself concurs, the webpage, and especially the map, is rather useful to FS2004 enthusiasts, especially for those who wish to seek to integrate a variety of overlapping scenery packages for regions in nearly most of Europe - payware and freeware (by selectively turning off from any given scenery package what they do not require, and only turning on, what they in fact do require) to perhaps have, ideally, a realistic landscape, terrain, and scenery geography to fly over, and which is free from errors including...

Reading some of the reports in a different thread on the Discord site, it's a false positive, and even Microsoft says it's false. They kind of explained a workaround, but as usual, it takes an IT expert to do all the steps. Beyond my limited programming skills. It was hinted that Flysimware may be working on a different installer, but not confirmed, as they were not part of the conversation. I'll just keep the previous model until a working installer is released.

I know I did it once before but I can't for the life of me remember how to put a gauges folder outside o0f P3d. I did it to make the ILH TCAS gauge work in P3d v3. Can anyone remind me how to do this?

Trying to crack this code on the repaint blockage I came upon something else interesting. In the model file in the m133_101.xml file there are 25 different antennas each with a visibility code attached. If you set the <vis_code> to 0 you can hide that antenna. I haven't dove into the naming to see which is which but I set them all to 0 and all the antennas and the dome on top of the fuselage disappeared. Maybe this was setup for a future update where you can hide certain antennas from the clipboard. Anyways just a way to customize some more. Ill keep digging through things :a1310:

Great repaints and I'd fly them IF I buy. USAF brat growing up with the Herc at the master C-130 base (Little Rock AFB), I've put many hours in the CS version since FS9 release. Frustrated like many with the "external only" MSFS release and pretty much wrote CS off. So much potential, even without a new glass J model, I'd be fine with early H models. Hopeful for some updates and the various repaints getting converted over.
