    Now OK-SKY is finished and available here soon. This repaint shows Let-410UVP Para OK-SKY of Sky Service. C/N 851418. Built 1985 this Let started its servce as CCCP-67514 for Uralsk. In 2001 aircraft was transfered to Czech Republic and registered as OK-SKY now wearing its famous paintjob. Status of aircraft is unclear. Have Fun Thomas

    Thanks Dave. I've actually had quite a few go-arounds with the ADE file while making adjustments to the scenery. However I never changed anything that came with the recent conversion which I checked both visually and then with the Fault Finder. . .nothing was amiss. The two AI airplanes are two liveries of the converted Stearman. They are ever present whenever I load the scenery, changing parking spots on each reload, but they never depart the airport.

    Does anyone know when the Mach Loop ( came into use as a low level training route? I assume it's fairly recently, as I have yet to see photos of any RAF/RN classics like Phantoms, Jaguars, and Buccaneers in the Loop.

    Oh, Gods -- there's a very large can of worms here. If nothing ever moves, you'd best open the airfield with ADE and use its built-in fault finder. That'll tell you if the parking spots are connected to the taxiways, if the taxiways are complete and connected to the runways...... I had this with the Skydesigners French Air bases. You'd be amazed at what I found -- and these are all commercial products. It can all be fixed -- but it's all very long-winded. Good luck.

    In working on the P-39DEJ, I had been so concerned with flight performance and handling that I had not actually done any sanity checking of the DP files. The Weights in the DP were correct as were the Armament Locations so that the Aeroplane balanced properly, but the hitting power of the guns and the location of the Parts in each box were not accurate. In looking at changes needed for the P-39C, it became obvious that the correct starting point was to go back and rework the P-39D. The 37 mm M4 cannon was a very big hammer. For a start, I made it about the equivalent of the German MK 108 cannon. The 37 mm was a much larger shell but the German shell was very thin walled and carried a lot of explosive.     I tried FS2004 ORBX several years ago. It might have some nice features. But I removed it very quickly as the world textures generate a lot of trees where they shouldn't be. Even at Svalbard near Artic Circle you will see trees like at Germany's Black Forest! And there they are misplaced anyway due to conical polar effect in FS2004. Bernard

    No, i haven't posted on the FS9 forum by mistake but after a bit of prodding ( Thanks Shessi :biggrin-new: ) and being really impressed by how well FS9 looks and works in my new Win 10 system, ive worked out that its little or no more work making airfields for both sims now that all the tools and SDK 's seem to work fine. The first on offer is Blankensee-Lubeck airfield, near the Baltic coast, NE Germany. The only objects you'll need is---, JD's conversion of Wolfi's CFS2 objects. you probably have these already :-) Ive used the same objects from my FS9 Westerland-Sylt scenery found in the SOH FS9 scenery section,

    The P-39DEJ also had the same disappearing Carb Intake problem but the solution of repurposing the Antenna to cure the bleed obviously would not work. We need the antenna mast there. The quick solution was the SCASM equivalent of adding a Glue Part and duplicating the Intake Opening. The First Screenshot shows where the Intake Opening would normally disappear (fixed via SCASM). The fuselage colour is changed so the opening is more visible. The Second Screenshot shows where the AF99 Glue Part would go to address this problem. The Part is larger here so its location is obvious. I should put this into the Project so that the change becomes permanent and is picked up in any further re-compiles. - Ivan.

    Has anyone actually observed the AI traffic taxiing or taking off/landing? I have set the times for each airplane to depart, allowing enough time to set up and watch the aircraft taxi, but so far they appear to be nothing more than static.
