Mach 2? Move to the right lane, gramps! You're blocking traffic. Alpha Habu in native Panel mods- haven't tried this. And, for a really big ride that can get loud: Avro Type 730/Skybolt-BS.III (GREEN MEAT)

If you want to go Mach 3 + you can either wait for Milviz, or if you don't want anything too crazy complicated, my SR-71 from 2012, or A-12 from 2017 are available. I have been working on a new model for the SR for a while, might get released one day. Find me on Facebook for screenshots. Screenshot of my new one (not released yet)

Fellow OutHousers - do we have a SR-71A in one of our numerous Outhouses? I wanna fly it - I have a strong urge to fly at Mach 2.0 - there being no Concordes available of any merit anymore in FSX Answers on a postcard please...with advance thanks. Ganter

It looks very good - particularly the colours. I fly in the UK 90% of FSX time and with Orbx England - I reckon your VFR Real Scenery looks better. I have a clutch of UK2000 - the obvious ones; LHR, LGW, EGHI... Keep the vids coming Bruce - you'll be heading to my neck of the woods pretty soon (Southampton/ Portsmouth way) Even better; plan a stop at Lee-On-Solent EGHF (my home airport for real world flying) - I'd love to see what the VFR Real Scenery looks like for that one.

Gentlemen, this project is on holding until P3Dv4.5 is released. Rumours out, that LM will change a lot of things in 4.5. We will see. Thomas

Just to elaborate a little on my previous statement: In order to have PBR on the model, the materials on the model need to be tagged to be Prepar3D PBR modeling while creating the model itself. Also, at that stage, you need to assign a "_metallic" texture to the model itself. It is the "metallic" texture that contains the PBR information (metalness, glossiness and AO). The rest of the PBR appearance is provided by an "albedo" texture and a normal map. The normal map is the same in P3Dv4.5 as it is in FSX, while the albedo technically is not the same as the diffuse but in most cases is the same. The FSX models are of couse compiled with the FSX compiler and will look for the same textures used for albedo in PBR as diffuse for FSX. An additional set of specular maps will do the rest.As...

Hi all... FYI in the FSX rendition I have used specular maps to replace PBR materials (of course it is not the same thing...but still)... maps have been tuned to a "medium gloss - one fits all" shininess that should work well with most of the liveries done for P3Dv4 ;-) !...this also applies to the TA-4!
