***TWS Update*** Track While Scan - Auto As most know, we had a TWS-Auto implementation for the F-14 at launch, but it was quite unreliable and ended up causing more trouble than it was worth, so it was disabled. After launch of course we were kept quite busy, and it was some time before we managed to revisit and eventually rewrite the TWS-Auto system. We’re finally ready to re-release it now, and this post will summarize the functionality. As you may remember, both TWS modes require the scan frame to be 2 seconds, and only support 2-bar ±40° or 4-bar ±20° scan volume modes (the radar gimbal moves at 80°/s, so you can see where the 2 second frame comes from in these two scan volume options). Very simply put, TWS-Auto attempts to keep the TWS pattern pointing where it is most useful...

:dizzy:Well again, hello, Moses finally got the B-17 repaired and caught with us SAWG and flew with the group SAWJ and had no problems with the big bird (B-170) on the flight. We did have one thing, a ship/boat was caught on Rob radar and he flew down to take a look and it turned out to be a fishing trolled. Good, the bloody was friendly. Kind of upset Dudley he was sure hopping that it was a bad boat he wanted to check out the twin 50s he smuggled aboard. That's all we would have needed Dudley starting a war. hehe. It was sure nice having four up and four down for a change.:wiggle: :a1310:Here to the local ground control folks, why in the heck do you all keep having us park in weeds. Oh, you want Yankee go home. lol.:biggrin-new: The next flight will that place on Monday...

All F-4Cs/F-4Ds at LAFB 1974-76 had slime lights. Especially remember 584 with them.

Looks like no part of repaint layer on the tail underside of the fuselage. From preview picture of this "7D" looks ok I suppose:

Here is one with an interesting record: On an sortie from Minneriya in Sri Lanka to southern Malaya to drop two British officers near the Kota Tinggi/Johore road on 31-7/1-8-1945, BZ862, captained by Flt Lt J A Muir RCAF was airborne for 24 hrs 10 mins, the longest unrefuelled flight ever made by any Allied landplane in World War II; the distance flown was 3,735 mls (6,013 km). jk6218 jk6219

is the underside of the fuselage on this aircraft supposed to be green with grey stripes? Is it just me, or do others see this as well?

I've always wondered why some Panthers and Cougars had bare metal next to the fuselage while others didn't. Surely they didn't do it just to make modeler's lives tougher?

Not an entirely new question but knowing sims like falcon BMS modelers have done it, I was wondering if it was possible to have things like the HUD Gauges, Map. and TAC display, appear on a separate monitor. The reason I ask is that, especially if one is trying to navigate without visible waypoints, large HUD gauges might be more easy to read than actual 'pit ones. Of course if one could have those on a separate monitor as in Falcon BMS, even better. Both the map and TAC Display woulkd also be useful for both navigating and using the TAC Display as H2S or radar. Not playing ILS, does anyone here know if they have any such system? Other than that; very quiet here when I would have thought all those staying at home would be posting more. Maybe everyone is hard at work modeling or adding...
