Hi everyone, We know people are going to be doing it tough over the next few months so we thought we might help ease the pain in a small way. Today, we are making the Globe Swift GC-1A totally and permanently, FREE. Obviously, being free, there are no country restrictions so you can download directly from our website. You can download from our vendors too but we are awaiting reponses from some. So if you do go through your usual vendor and get a price showing on the Swift, just go to

As we move inexorably toward a new and exciting phase in flight simulation, we, at Aeroplane Heaven, have been thinking hard about how we can continue to have a presence for our brand on “older” platforms like FSX. More importantly, how we can continue to supply and support our loyal and valued customer base, especially in FSX. We have understood for some time now that there is a sizeable core of flight simulation enthusiasts who feel that they have no need for complex add-ons requiring extensive learning curves just to go flying. Also, an awful lot of people no longer have the budget to pay for this complexity with the ever- escalating prices being asked for such productions. So, how can we continue to deliver high-quality productions for this sector of the market...

Hi fellows, I wanted for long to cover the Mig-29 from IRIS, the paintkit provided with the install starts showing its age but the 3D model is still really good ! I dig up from my archives the first Mig-29 template Eagle Dynamic originally released for LOMAC Flaming Cliff first opus, around 2005/2006... Despite being completely outdated in regards to DCS, I'm going to give a try adapting it to IRIS Mig-29 mapping to see how it looks. Will keep you posted with results. As it will be based o n15 y/o stuff, I don't think they will mind if I release the results, quoting them as original authors of templates used ? More to come

My wife & I are hunkered down at our home in Pensacola. She's 63, and I will turn 67 in a few months; so we are mindful of our increased health risks from the Coronavirus. We have a decent amount of everything we need to avoid a grocery run for a while. My wife is more bothered by being at home for a long time than I am. I mastered the art of "Introvertism" a long time ago! I have hundreds of movies to watch, music to listen to, and if things get bad enough, a lot of books I have bought, but never read. And, of course, SOH posts to read, and flight simulation:encouragement: NC P.S. McGuire's Irish Pub, downtown Pensacola, made the dumbass, irresponsible decision to have their St. Patrick's Day Party today anyway. It just proves how all-powerful that greed is, over concern...

Hi folks, hope everybody is well and coping with the global shut down! I thought that this might be a good time to post some images of the new project - I tried earlier but it wouldn't work, but have now solved the problems I've been having with the site. All pictures are WIP of course, along with animations. Projected launch date, if all goes well, will be May 1st 2020. Once again, this will not be a study level airplane but instead be aimed at those who want to enjoy flying rather than button pushing - that said, it'll look and handle as close to the real thing as I can manage. Enjoy, and I'll be posting updates here more often now that everything appears to be working again

A new entry has been added to Add-Ons Library, category FS 2004 Military - Jets Description: Updated standalone version 1.1 of the Phantom PatchPack. You don't need version 1. This PatchPack will make the Virtavia Phantom II compatible with FSX and all versions of P3D, including the 64 bit version 4. I have strived to preserve all functionality and appearance as close to the original as possible, not add new stuff.

Hi, just downloaded the fantastic SSW gift Fiat G91 and installing ran fine. But after starting P3dv4.5, I got only black textures/missing textures in the preview box. Can anybody help, please? EDIT: Oh, not familiar with SSW texture options, but I can't found any texture folders with textures in it. I only find "textures/textures" and a lot of liveries, but all contain a texture.cfg file. Did I lose anything while downloading?

So while ensconced within my humble abode (i.e. quarantined like a rabid animal), I decided to give aircraft painting a try. I've wanted to for a long time, but never got around to it. Here's my first result, still a work-in-progress. I still need to figure out the alpha channel, and there's some markings to tweak and add. The paint represents fictional TA-4J BuAer 154280 painted in an equally fictional heritage scheme representing the Torpedo Six squadron commander's TBD circa 1940. Yes, the center tank is painted like an infamous Mark 13 torpedo :) Comments welcome (nice, constructive ones...especially since I know what most people think of fictional paints...) Thanks! If anyone has time, I have a question for other painters. I've tried to change the front pilot's face, but...
