    I'd love to be able to release this when finished but it is still a payware add-on and only the original author, David Bushell, can do that. I've used MCX to add PBR compatibility to several payware models and am experimenting to see what they would look like. Hopefully some developers will take up the challenge to convert their models to PBR so we painters can get the best out of our work. But if David wants my efforts when finished he would be most welcome. DaveQ

    My old rig (HP-win7) is 10yrs old and showing signs of age, so I have been working to move CFS2 to my NEW win10 machine before the HP dies. So far most of my issues have been manageable. But now I've hit a wall. I can't make changes to cfg files or dp files and save them with notepad. I've set all the permissions I can find and set administrator controls, but I'm still missing something. Google search is no help, and MS help is no better. I wonder if this anything encountered and resolved by others.

    Yep, where CFS2 draws the line is kind of random. As some point, cumulatively, CFS2 just draws the line and says "That's enough!" I have 144 Ships and 102 planes at the moment and everything is peachy keen. Go figure! MR

    Guys, I posted the solution over on the Naval HQ forum for lack of a batter option. I've asked the moderators to move it where they felt it was better suited if not there. It seems gmax will do it. I just was doing it wrong! I have to clean up one of the screenshots, but there should be something there to start with for those that want to try and reproduce my results. I'll redo and re-upload the screenshot that is somewhat blurry. Thanks again for all the input! I really appreaciate it! Now I know that someone who uses something other than gmax or fsds (such as blender) would probably be able to make a model for CFS2 as well.     Hi Shadow Wolf, All of the PSK ships appear for me in MB. I do have blank docs in the panel and sound folders. I don't know whether that makes a difference but it certainly doesn't hurt. The limit to the number of ships seems to be variable. I've had error messages with 90 ships and didn't get a clear run until I removed 10 ships. When I replaced them one at a time, restarting CFS2 after each ship was put back I ended up with the original 90, all showing up and no error message. I have had "no show" ship which turned out to be the texture name being different to the texture name in the ship.cfg, but that was just my lack of attention.

    Back from my dalliance with the LET 410 panel....my Falcon 20 2D panel is done. Of the 22 toggles overhead I've got 19 of them to do something 'useful'....dunno whether animating some wipers was worth the effort to get to 21....the toggles still toggle anyway...;) Just about time to upload....few little things to sort first.

    LOoks like it will be under FSX Effects entries. I'll include both FSX and P3Dv3 AB effects in one package. All issue is fixed that I can see for P3Dv3 AB effects. I will check to see if it affects FSX and will fix it if needed.

    Today, I noticed there are several versions of Nvidia Profile Inspector available. Does it make any difference for FSX which version I download ? Latest is version 2.3.0.2 . Maybe I'll go with this one, as most up to date ?
