Hello, I recently raised the question to a local forum about the future of FS20. Most of the answers I get were that I should consider P3D instead, get some jokes about FS being kind of zombie already. I guess this was mostly from P3D die hard fans, and so cannot really get the true picture of what finally could be FS20. It is no a question of planning, can wait for sure, but for those who have a chance to be part of the associated team (?) of testers, are you confident the product will be really good when available compared to P3D? I just would like to get the actual feeling of people who really know by themselves. Thanks!

I recently bought a new rig and had to re-install all the stuff. Had some issues with FSX but finally succeeded after lengthy tries, search for fixes and two complete re-install. So where are you stuck, it maybe I had same pb and so possible solution?

Why is that funny extension underneath the fuselage? It is ugly, like the scrotum of a sheep. Never saw it on any picture, nor originals, not of actual still flying C-47's. Please make a hotfix to remove it. Piet de Geus Netherlands

After a bit more tweaking, I was finally able to land the Stirling successfully. Conditions were: Full MG ammunition, no Bomb Load, 30% Fuel. Surprisingly, there isn't a great tendency to nose over braking is very effective. That combination has me a little concerned that some of the Landing Gear parameters may not be correct. One other problem that needs to be corrected is the Cockpit Viewpoint. While it is correct technically, its interaction with the MDL file is such that there is no view to the sides or rear and that makes orientation very difficult. If I build a replacement visual model, this situation should change. There also seems to be a slight problem with No. 4 Engine. In a flight that starts airborne, it is the only one that does not start automatically.

I have made many facilities and objects etc. GMAX exports 0-180 as one would expect, anything greater 181 up to 359 is a negative entry in the xml (this was mentioned already). Two orientation adjustments, one is with the object in the facility as it is oriented to the axis in gmax with 0 degrees being pointing up as per the screen (of course that is if you orient the axis (pivot) to world (if not the object sits rather oddly when displayed). You can adjust the direction of the facility by rotating the dummy associated with it. This will be seen as the ground plane orientation. Are you using the spawn/facility editor makes life a bit easier? Doing it with the xml is really tedious, you should think about using gmax to make new ones not difficult at all. My two cents worth maybe...

These were originally done on a stock scenery install. You can see the placement og the infrastructure objects. I am currently re-doing the missions on a Rhumba mesh install. I either need to convince UncleTgt to do Engebi and Nauru Is like he did Wake and Marcus or switch back to a stock install for this campaign.

Wish there was a Rio seat view - I don't think there was one originally. It would of been interesting.

Does anybody know which app or program is being used to show the GPU and CPU info on the top left in the video Yoyo posted? I would love to have something like that. The small red font used by PD3 is too small for my old eyes.

It could be a joke.... P3Dv5 isnt graphical tweak only, its a dedicated engine for DX12. Owner of this comment doesnt understand main feature of v5 I suppose or... its a joke :biggrin-new: .

Thanks Priller ! I will buy the Mig-29 early variant and the Su-33. I needed some new jets to enjoy low altitude flights in VR. I cannot resist the VC screenshots and the price. :D https://secure.simmarket.com/flyfreestd-mig-29-first-generation-p3d4.phtml https://secure.simmarket.com/flyfreestd-sukhoi-su-33-flanker-d-admiral-kuznetsov_liaoning-aircraft-carriers-p3d4.phtml 25 euros in total. I had sworn I wouldn't buy any addons for P3D anymore until MSFS would be available... I mean, look at that: Su33:

The crew door just aft of the cockpit is generally not used due to needing a tall ladder to gain access to the door. Crews, even on cargo DC-3/C-47's, enter through the aft cargo door whenever possible.

Thanks Shessi. Can I be cheeky and ask for a skin please? For No 456 Squadron RAAF, squadron codes "RX". No worries if it's not possible, thanks. SW PS: I hope everyone is keeping safe!
