Bit late to the party on this one, but here's a quote from the website from a couple of weeks ago: "At long last, there is some news from FSAddon and Simon Smeiman. Our friend Simon has had some personal issues to attend to over the past year, and that’s why the release of our Bristol Freighter is still waiting. We DO have the final Beta now, so we’re hoping to get it out soon." I too am excited about this one!

Yep, NASCAR has lost its way big time. Bring back the stock bodies so the look close to what you can buy at the dealership. Remember the old NASCAR saying, “win on Sunday, sell on Monday”. It doesn’t hold today.

I agree. That shiny one is out in the open at a museum. To keep the forward fuselage looking pretty they coat and polish it like its the General's ride. A real B-58 on the line looked more like the in-sim image Dave posted but not as dull as the balance of the museum bird. :ernaehrung004:

The B-58 at the Pima museum was polished up for a cover shoot for the Smithsonian aircraft mag. It has now reverted back to its weather worn finish.

Henrik and associates, a heartfelt thank you and appreciation for your continued efforts on what is undoubtedly one of the greatest freeware flightsim addons of all time. Incredible work. The virtual seas have never looked better.

Nice shots Rick :D I got quite some request to increase the traffic in the sea between the Uk and Ireland - now there are ferries crossing, naval exercises with subs and aircraft carriers, and even Ocean Races - both a "mini" Fastnet Race and the Volvo Ocean Race.

Yep, been saying the same for years, people loved NASCAR back in the early thru mid 70's, but in the 80's seems they started down this path of getting far away from their roots, cars now are all the same except for the paint schemes, and as said, they wonder why attendance & TV ratings are dropping fast.

Hi A, Had a chance to check a few things. And no there's no internal or external splash sounds for FP/FB type ac. If you look at a stock install of CFS2, you will see there are no FB/FP etc, and therefore the only references to water and aircraft in the main Sounds section is to an aircraft crashing into or landing on water. The CFS2 developers had no idea that we would take it to where we are now, and so they gave little development room in the basic install. Having said that I have had an idea. If you take a look at the sound config file for an aircraft there are entries for scrape points and fuselage sounds, the later entries refer to crash landings land and water, and are present in all ac sound configs. Now a cunning plan! If you were to make the FB/FP ac scrape points...

***Hornet mini update*** "In order to hit our Viper release window, we have very recently had to temporarily move a couple of the systems programmers from the Hornet onto the Viper for a short period. Once the Viper is released, they will be back to work on the Hornet with a strong push on TWS radar mode, air-to-surface radar, further targeting pod features, and more. Much of this work is directly applicable to the Viper. We appreciate your understanding and thank you for your patience. Thanks. Wags"

Ian when you say a fresh install of Win 7 and FSX was it onto a clean disk etc not just a MS uninstall then reinstall process. The reason I ask is that when you use that method, it actually only uninstalls some of the key files and leaves most of them there, anyway, the issue of load times for FSX has been a bug bear of mine from day 1 and after several deletes and reinstallations of FSX (but not Win 7) i have noticed that when it is all fresh, it loads like lighting - same number of scenery files, aircraft models and sundry addons. I also get a remarkable improvement in load time with the old trick of deleting the FSX. cfg and having a new one now and then. Over the years I have read any number of suggestions; too much scenery, too many aircraft, too many old gauges inside FSX. I think...
