Hi Ian, The Grumman F3F is available here in the library. It has been uploaded by Tufun, with permission of Bazzar. When you do a search on "barrel" it will be at the first page. It is listed as the FS2003 version, but I can't remember a specific FS2004 version. There are several repaints for it in the library as well. I still have the original on my disk, which had a separate .zip file with the gauges and one with the effects. Cheers, Huub

Just as impressive is the fact the Germans are restoring a Condor they retrieved out of a Fjorde in Norway in 1988. Including re-milling and remanufacturing all the parts they needed to get it to work. Here is the website for the restoration project for those interested:

A P3DV5 compatible Focke Wulf Condor 200A has been uploaded to Sparked my curiosity because always found it to be a fascinating aeroplane but previous sim versions were a bit limited. Hauke Kietel has done this one and it is very well done indeed. Comprehensive animations, controls and instrumentation, good sound package and it even includes a complete copy of the original German FW200 pilots manual (dated 1940). Any issues well apart from the fact all the documentation, notes and installation instructions, VC labelling and instrumentation is in German and follows authentically the German instrumentation and standards of the day, that is all. This is a very nicely done simulation model indeed. The attention to detail is exceptional. And the VC Some very nice...

Jan, There are a couple of T-45 missions out there. One has you taking off from and flying to a couple different airbases. You can create your own with the mission creator. It is not that hard to get the basics down. I don't think any of the other Maps have T-45 missions. Remember it is not a DCS supported aircraft. I don't use and don't recommend the Steam version. I use the Reverb G2 VR headset. Steam VR will automatically load and then load DCS when the goggles are active. If I want to see the screen without using VR, I unplug the power on the VR goggles before starting DCS. I find it easier to set controllers and test stuff on the flat screen. later, I will fly it in VR.

I'm very excited about the Hellcat (and will be of the Fw 190 and Bf 109G as they progress as well). By all real world accounts, the Hellcat is a real sweetheart to fly, and one of the nicest handling of all WWII fighters. For me, a depiction of Fagen Fighters WWII Museum's restored Hellcat will be a must. Restored by Fighter Rebuilders, it is one of the most authentically-restored Hellcats to-date - fully stock throughout, and with the proper dash model R-2800 equipped with a fully functioning two-stage supercharger. It has a very distinctive whistle when it flies. Photo Copyright: Michael O'Leary Photo Copyright: Scott Slocum

The Shockwave Zero is too modern. It is the Mitsubishi A6M5 Zero Model 52. The prototype of the Model 52 flew summer 1943 and the aircraft went in production in April 1944! So I fly the model by Akemi. A decent model and freeware, which is also important for cheap buggers like me...... and there are many nice repaint available!

Jan - I have to hold NWS button also when you want it engaged. Using rudder pedals get you some steering, but NWS allows you to steer nose wheel almost 90 degrees. To move into launch shuttle, full power on T-45 is needed, so not unusual that you need it. I don't know how much you paid on Steam for "DCS", but the whole DCS basic software package is FREE from DCS. You could start over with DCS standalone (that is NO Steam) for no charge (that would include the Caucasus map and the Mariannas map is free once DCS is installed). But do, at a minimum, add Flaming Cliffs 3 for $25 as it has more than $25 worth of aircraft. From the DCS Website - " Key features of DCS World 2.7:

I have all panels and 5 FiPs, but now I don't use much because I fly differently. Here you have my example for MSFS: C:\Users\name\Documents\SPAD.neXt\profiles, I see that I have now .. 65 profiles (but mostly for P3D). Now I use VR during the flight, so many function I removed however You can check 1 ENG profile. I also divide the profiles into those with retractable landing gear or not, just the LEDs would not light up. Here axamples, if You need more, write me.

Bingo! Made it off the deck for the first time! Great fun! Thanks mucho much for all the great tips, gentlemen ! Nosewheel steering and camera's A Okay ! Thanks again ! :encouragement: Camera options need a lot of practise but the nosewheel steering works wonderful now (after i noticed i need to *hold* the button down..;-) Dunno if it's the T-45 or my fault but i sorta got stuck a bit on the shuttle (launch bar down) only with full power would the launch bar go over the end of the shuttle. Is that normal ?... Not tried a trap of course, want to learn a bit about the T-45 first. For that matter, is it possible to fly the Goshawk from a landbase ? I see it only turn up in Instant Action, not in any of the other Mission options.... Can i fly it off the deck and then head...

Me too. I even cleaned all the "user" and ProgramData and updated the NVidia driver - that's so easy to miss something... And this seams to have solved some long standing issues I had :) "I am happy" Gérard

That sounds like a binding or axis issue especially if ATC can't keep 8.1 degrees AOA. I generally start with Chuck's settings on my TM Warthog and adjust from there.
