Let me know if the taxi/rwy links give you a problem. To get the correct squared effect of the PST I had to skinny the links to parking. Terry

Falcon 409, Thanks for the heads up. I went to Rob's site, but could not find the link to the TF9F-8 just the F9F-8. Did I miss something? I did see the image for the trainer and it looks great. Can't wait to add it to the Grumman family. HarleyDude

When I got back to this last night it was too late to do anything else so I'll have to try installing the planes a little later today. I'm guessing if I install the carriers I'll have to edit the mission files to use them in those missions.

A new entry has been added to Add-Ons Library, category FSX Scenery Description: This scenery package attempts to represent Advanced Landing Ground A-1 of the US 9th AAF. ALG A-1 was one of 29 Advanced Landing Grounds that dotted the Cotentin Peninsula. Construction of this airfield was started 3 days after D-Day on June 9th, 1944 by the 834th Engineer Aviation Battalion. At first it was in service as “ELS A-1,“ an Emergency Landing Strip. It had a 3400 x 120ft un-tracked (grass/dirt) runway and was used mainly by small observation aircraft. There after it was expanded and enhanced with a 5000x150 foot SMT/PSP runway and 50 dispersal points. The 366th Fighter Group (P-47’s) of the 9th USAAF occupied the airfield on June 17th, 1944. From here the 366th FG (389th FS, 390th...

Nice. Now I can set up my new 391st B-26 AI to fly from Matching to here and then back. Maybe have a few spend the night and a few others do touch-n-goes. But before I can start on that I need to finish the paints. I'm still researching trying to find nose art for each a/c. Joe

Hello Aleatorylamp, Smilo, I believe the issue with bombs displaying probably has something to do with the model format that is generated by AF99. The loads do not show up visually and landing gear and propellers do not display properly in AI aircraft nor in multiplayer. Regarding air cooled automotive engines, there are other examples such as some of the early Porsche 911's and Chevrolet Corvairs that are not exactly low powered. The turbo Corvair actually made pretty good power though I don't really consider any version of the Corvair to be a particularly good car. By the way, I am not saying your conclusion about the VW is incorrect. I don't know much about the VW.... Though I was actually thinking about building one to drive around in CFS. By the way, it is a...

There's a coincidence Nigel - I'm in the middle of building that 'pretty twin' as a follow-on from my recent Airspeed Envoy release. :applause: Would'nt want folks holding their breath though - there's a way to go before the Oxford appears on the tarmac. Cheers :wavey: Dave M(oly)
