Countless times I have flown in here, first on the VOR DME to 09, and then on the RNAV to 10... BUT NOT TODAY! Today, we are LOOOOOOW and SLOOOOOOW and will stay out of the way, until SXM Tower fits us in on final at the last possible moment, to minimize the disruption to traffic spacing. Already, the string of pearls are lined up, and I think I can fit in between a Twotter, and the next Jet Blue A321... at least that's the plan... C

There's Maho twinkling through the wires ahead. The sky is perfect, and at 1000' over the water, we've stopped moving, and the water seems to roll past the wing... one can almost... "reach out and touch the face of God." (Apologies John) ...and THEN THERE WAS SUNLIGHT, breaking through the Lenticulars...

...an absolute Git... I hadn't realized Martin from Fly Tampa had updated the St. Maarten Package months ago. It's even BETTER than ever... and the 3 airport rotation is the PERFECT way to spend an evening in the Tutor... Fly Tampa is among the very best airport developers, and this package is an ABSOLUTE JEWEL! Scenery and aircraft work beautifully together to suspend belief (albeit with a willing participant) :). Best- C

ETE about 55 minutes. I'm struggling with the headwind. I've got 20 knots out of the southeast, while AVSIM are disappearing into the distance with 40 knots out of the west. :dejection:

Cheers friends,All valid points and opinions,I believe it was little more than a year ago that DCS had a massive overhaul of the game engine,New terrain,Lighting and Explosions to name a few. The Sim is not perfect,We know that, but really,What other choice do we have? Is there anything on the market now that covers modern era aerial combat as in depth and high fidelity as DCS does? The Hornet was released in (EA)Early Access in May of last year,It has gotten almost weekly updates since it's release,I for one would hate to wait another 1 or 2 years till it was fully developed to enjoy it on my PC,I'm very happy with the realistic pace of the aircraft's development. With The popularity The Falcon has World Wide,As it is flown as a staple in many nations Air forces,It's no wonder...

Yes...it was always the difference between using a paint kit to make a paint...inherently OK obviously...and using a paint kit to re-imagine a paint kit...that only then becomes a paint....and wanting to release that kit itself. Tim was happy for me to do so in the past but after losing contact I was probably being overly 'PC'. After I've finished the high res kit for the Section F8 F86 .... my current headache...I'll revisit the kit I still have of Tim's plane...;)

Hello everybody,Before we return to telling about the Battle of Bodenplatte and Flying Circus in our DDs, today we’d like to tell you more about Tank Crew. The most important thing is that we prepare the next big update that will include two new tanks, M4A2 “Sherman” and Panzerkampfwagen III Ausführung M, that were used in Kursk area and the map of the southern part of the Kursk salient made for joint ground and air warfare. But of course, we work not only on the new content. The main areas of the Tank Crew development at this moment are: Improving the damage and armor-projectile interaction model both for the player controlled tanks we’re making for Tank Crew and the other objects. Several consequent updates for the sim we released this month contained most part of this work, but...
