With port overs, the textures are cached in the CVT folder that's automatically created. Just delete that each time.

Thanks for the heads-up Thomas, As a life-long Bush Flying enthusiast, I’ll be looking forward to the release of these machines. For those interested, over the years have collected quite a number of books on Canadian bush aircraft, notably Larry Milberry’s “Noorduyn Norseman, Vols.1 and 2, and his history of Austin Airways, and his volume on the Canadian North Star. I have managed to obtain Rich Hulina’s magnificent photographic books “Bush Flying Captured” Vols. 1 and 2. I have the addresses for both of these authors, and can highly recommend all of the above to anyone interested, Though I already have the Tri-Motor, I will be waiting in eager anticipation for its re incarnation as will as the other three aircraft. Count me in!!

So, I use this all the time on purpose. You can use it in either the cockpit or externally. To activate it, you click the scroll wheel on the mouse. To deactivate, click the right mouse button. No need to open any windows. And, yes, you can't interact with the cockpit in that mode, so you have to switch back and forth. I have too many windows in my room, so my TrackIR 4 doesn't like to work, so this is a good replacement.

Hi:wavey: I have a scrollball but the principle should be the same; right-click with the panel for camera open and the pointer should appear in it and the fixed camera should be on. No need to click again. Give it a shot.

Hello all. So after looking things over with Graham we came up with a short list of planes coming up this year. We hope to get all of these out to you if things work well for us this year. 1- Ford Tri Motor Pro:- This is a complete departure from the original Trimotor standard that is now released. This will have many of the same skin themes as the standard but at extreme detail. (no the old ones will not work on the new Trimotor) as well as some new ones. The interiors will be upgraded to a lot more High def set up with new modeling and textures. One new model will be introduced into the package and that will be the 5AT. New gauges made in 3d. New high def sounds, and a all new flight model made with a real virtual air tunnel system. New Human models that are as real as real...

Was that the Big Flood of 2009. Pretty epic in the Caribbean as I recall. :very_drunk: Pretty sure the other named games (sims?) can't replicate history as well as FSX. One of those "you had to be there, man" situations. :ernaehrung004:

I think the Mayor just never grew up (as your first image shows) I lost count of the times in all the previous FS versions I took off from Meigs Field. I purchased the Pro version because of that, and the fact that I wanted to support the creator who allowed us to bring back these experiences to us.

I believe I've gotten out of this mode by middle clicking. It has only happened by accident so not sure if it's quite the same but sounds like it.

The RealAir Spitfire does, indeed, port over nicely. However, although it is flyable immediately, I found I have had to do more tweaking of its flight model than any other warbird to get it flying like I think it should. It sounds like John would agree with me that its flight model in FSX and P3D was a little too pleasant and forgiving. But I found that in MSFS it swung too far the other way, especially with the instability and crosswind sensitivity that seem to be endemic to the MSFS flight model. I try to fly my imports in Modern mode with as few edits as possible, but with the Spits I had to switch to Legacy and tweak a bunch of things in the cfg file before I was happy with both the ground and air handling. I even defined two different joystick profiles with different aileron...

Does anyone know how to regain control of the mouse once you have entered into this mode? I was enjoying a trans-Atlantic flight: Gatwick to JFK I was getting to close to top of descent when I started "fooling around" with the cockpit camera views. When I was in this mode , the mouse becomes a "freelook" device and you can use it to scroll all over the place .... and my Track IR went a little bonkers but worked for the most part.

I believe I'll go my way, detailing the engine and setting up removable cowlings, and I'll see if I have problems on compilation, it will be time then to give up removable cowlings and delete the invisible parts. It will be a Re8, but she was not far from late productions Be2c "Fokker fodders". Cheers Martin:wiggle:

Aharons question was tongue in cheek. I, for one, have never experienced flooding in X-Plane 11, so yes that's another area in which FSX retains a lead over it (after ATC).

The EC-135 in your photo is good! I could use the default 747-400 or the Aerosoft DC-8 VC's for example, but also interested in your panel.cfg for the CS 707 VC with gauges that work in 64 bit.
