Hi Highpockets, This is the fix I use. Open the DP file with DPED. Set the box marked "Trigger" to "0 Guns" and the box marked "Spec" to "2 Cannon" Don't forget to delete the cdp file. I think that prehaps the box labled "Trigger" in DPED is really the "Spec" and vice-a-versa. Because the box marked "Spec" controls the player's trigger button. Try it. You will be glad you did. Regards, B24Guy

Sean this is a conversion sent to me for some testing and checks - The plan is to get it out for the community, not sure when but there are just a couple of things to fix (not show stoppers) but the metric instrumentation and cyrillic script all over is a bit daunting but once you get used to it ok. I think they wanted me to do the package for SOH but still awaiting outcome. Yes I will fire up the sim and get some more screenshots.

All the acknowledge ments for aircrfat and missions remain as in that install.

Hello Folks, Well, after countless and continual bleed battles that have gone on for 3 weeks now, it seems that the appearance from outside has slowly improved and is quite worthy by now. However, the virtual cockpit view was an absolute disaster, with numerous items not showing up properly, requiring proper display order via SCASM. This proved to be quite a lengthy process, but came out very well: - L/R outer struts and wires - copilot - L/R engines - central struts and wires

How do you reduce the effectiveness of this beast! I can't get close enough before chunks knocked off my A/C! It's range seems much longer than my 50 cal.

Thanks for the support John and Bendy. No extras other than ORBX so I'll check back on their support forum and go from there. In a stroke of absolute desperation I loaded up FSXE (on a separate drive) with few ORBX Base items installed, ran a couple of flights and had a CTD. Then it had the gall to inform me it was OOM!!!!!!! OOM with 128G installed. :biggrin-new:

This is a mod for the excellent Bell 412 EP created by Cera Sim, made with the help of Jens Ole, with permission of the creators. The militay versions of the Bell 412 include new communication systems, ECM, armored cabins and, in the case of the Royal Norwegian Air Forces, two miniguns Most changes, but not all, are similar to those of Griffons used by the Royal Canadian Forces and the Augusta Bell Grifone used by the Italian forces A control panel allows the user make miniguns and gunners visible, and point the GAU-17 at front or sides. It is necessary to have installed the original Cera Bell 412 to use the mod. You can purchase it here: https://www.cerasimaircraft.com/product/cera-bell412ep/

I downloaded the vanrv8.zip from online. There are a few sites you can find it on by a Google search for "Van's RV8/8A" I also did a Google search for photos of the real aircraft and found quite a few. One of them was called "The Poor Man's P-51 Mustang" and was painted in a squadron's colors. So...I have always liked the 80th Fighter Group's P-40N Warhawks so I decided to duplicate one of their aircraft like I would if I had built myself a real RV-8. There isn't a real paintkit for the aircraft but one of the downloads has a texture that is all white that I used to create psd files in Photoshop and then found the noseart and worked on it until I got it right. The aircraft is supposed to have a vc according to the panel.cfg but it comes up all black so for the present I am using the...

Certainly messed up there Wombat. Seems there is a serious misread on the elevations there - tried the Vector Configurator to get it to reset all the elevations? Just a thought. I have a similar system but only V5 now installed. Another thought is that ORBX has loaded up and earlier ASAS scenery or is not reading the V5 edition. P3DV5 has a lot of significant elevation changes world wide which is why the delayed Global Vector and at one stage said you did not need it. That is something ORBX need to resolve alas and I noticed this issue with ORBX in Iceland but nowhere else. Seems to have resolved itself by not having 3rd Party Addons where ORBX has done it. I checked ORBX ASAS on my system and it was all good for me. At least you got a new machine - idiots dropped mine and...

Mal, thanks for this image, I is much sharper than the example I had from the internet. Most pin-ups done by Alberto Vargas wear shoes. So I was already afraid that my drawing wasn't complete........ Now I'm sure..... :banghead: The lettering is also much sharper and I see it is different than I thought. So for the final version I will adjust that too. So stay tuned Tom as I will provide you a new (more authentic) one tomorrow. Cheers, Huub
