Great pic, NC! The F-4 always looked like it could muscle its way in and out of trouble! I remember some of the best airshows I attended as a kid were when the Angels and Tbirds were using Phantoms. Randy Cunningham used to call them "smoke and thunder F-4 hogs".

I've been using the new sharpening setting for about a week or so. The effect on the looks of P3D on my end has been dramatic, and so far seems to do very little to the average FPS. What I'm seeing in-sim is what one of my P3D screenshot looks like after I use image sharpening in PaintShopPro. I'm currently using the Sharpening setting between .25 - .5 for P3D. Any higher and it starts looking too sharp and a little pixelated. I'm using the .25 setting in American Trucker and it looks fantastic. In Rise Of Flight the .5 setting is too much. I also have the Low Latency Mode set at "Ultra" for all 3 sims. First caught wind of this new Nvidia tool through this thread over on Avsim, when it first got posted.

Yes. And the reason has to with squadron spirit/teamwork. About the only personalization I ever saw was the pilot's call signs in reflective tape. But then again, today's "new" Navy has changed..... Don't get me started on that crap, shipmates! NC

Hallo Von Ernst, I must admit that at the B / D 2D panels I cheated a bit. At the place where I did put the Laengneigungsmesser is in reality a settingssheet. I did put the Laengsneigungsmesser in to have an indication about the planes attitude. The early Bf 109' s did not have a vertical speed indicator nore an horizontal attitude indicator, Only upwards th G series the 109 has been equiped with an artificial horizont, and than on the K series with the introduction of the Blindflugtafel we find also an variometer.. Please do not forget that the Bf 109 was only designed as an day fighter for "good flying conditions". In the later days of war the poor bird was pressed in more and more missions she never was originally

It is with great sadness that I post these 2 pictures of former USAF VC-140B's (62-4197 & 62-4200) and what they have become. Friends don't let friends paint! They call this "ART"! Makes me sick to look at them... Your model is looking fantastic GMan, Thanks for doing it! :ernaehrung004: The Old Master Sergeant

Hi gecko, I will certainly post feedback when I get these birds installed! At the moment, I cannot get cfs3 running at all, even with a complete fresh install of the OS. Will keep trying - the alternative is to find a copy of Win 7 and another complete rebuild :banghead:

Hi Rami, Thank you for your concerns. We are quite safe where we are. The Kuringai Chase national park, which is bushland, is about 3km to the west of us is of no real threat to us and we live in a concrete block. A Tsunami would be a different matter. The ocean is about 1km east of us and we are about 5m above sea level.
