A new entry has been added to Add-Ons Library, category P3D / P4D Add-Ons - Helicopter repaints Description: This repaint pack is for the payware Cera Sim UH-60L with the Firehawk mod from here on SOH. This pack represents S-70 and UH-60 Firehawk helicopters newly acquired by various agencies in California. This pack includes Ventura County Sheriff, Cal Fire, San Diego Fire, and Santa Barbara County Fire's aircraft. Blackahawks modified by United Rotorcraft with 1,000 gallon external tanks, extended landing gear, and an assortment of other supporting mods are given the patented name "Firehawk," This is the easiest way to discern a Firehawk from the many other fire fighting Blackhawks. Los Angeles Country Fire was the first agency to receive the Firehawk in the late 1990s, where it has...

Fascinating developments...... Could the song possibly be BTO's (Bachman Turner Overdrive) - classic "You Ain't Seen Nothing Yet"?......

Hi Steve, I'm very glad to know I brought you some good old memories. As a kid in the late sixties living very close to the airport, when I was living in Europe, I used to see the USAF's military transport and AEW EC-121 aircraft flying (among airliners) in and out and was captivated. In a way, you and I lived in the golden era of aviation which spawned some of the most interesting aircraft, both military and commercial. Now we have tons of these carbon copy aircraft with two engines under low wings.

You're very welcome! Aerial Firefighting is a large relatively untouched area of aviation in the Sim world. Especially in P3D. There were requests on our FB page to do their CL-215Ts/415s as well which I may do in the future. Cera Sim Firehawk repaint pack is complete. I'm in the process of readying them for upload to SOH and Simviation this evening.

Hiya UT, What is all that other sand colored texturing under the disappearing-reappearing ground texture of yours? It doesn't look like landclass texturing. Is it another ground poly trying to occupy the same space as yours? MR

Sounds like a non-electrician/E-Tech. I just explain to them that it's magic. 2 kinds, Advanced Magic, and Friggen (you get the idea) Magic. Still, a recruit NEVER argued/back-talked a Drill Instructor. Not more than once anyway! :encouragement: Just say "SIR, YES SIR!" and go on and do what you're told. It backfires it's on them, whether they admit (they wouldn't) it, or not. Just part-n-parcel of being a Marine Recruit, below the lowest fecal matter, etc etc. My Senior did, once, near graduation, during an Oral Health class, tell me that he was going remove his cover, and turn around, and he expected a little bird to S%^& a cigarette in his cover. It did, too! :biggrin-new: Amazing, what those little birds could do... After graduation, you can always pull the "with all due...

Hi John, I had a similar problem with Aspelare airfield in Belgium. The only way I could fix it was to make an additional flatten for its scenery layer in the scenery.cfg file. This is not the ideal solution but it worked. I would like to have known what was causing the problem in the first place. Kevin
