My update is finally done. My d/l speeds were good, but there were two loops that required restarts. Total time was 59 minutes from first folder installed to last, which includes the Content manager. I've had worse... I'll fly later - got some things in the real world that require attention.

Like for many. I dont know why we have DX12 here, no any benefits and worse performance. Overall it's weird because MS itself promoted DX12 as a great engine and good optimization, and here you can see that it's not doing well and DX11 offers much better smooth of image.

What I find strange is that performance on my rig with DLSS is A LOT better using DX11 than with DX12. Priller

Chief, the older version, dated May of this year is still available on flightsim.to if you click on the download button. You have a choice between the current and previous versions. Cheers, Priller

Nope, and because it's exclusive to the marketplace the sound.xml file is encrypted, so it's going to be up to Carenado to improve them (so likely won't happen). They are especially bad in multiplayer, flybys sound nothing like a radial engine.

Thanks much for the tutorial Jankees, I copied and pasted all three parts in Word. Does the F6F have a Paint Kit? They do always help. I would like to repaint the Blue Angles Hellcat, because the color is incorrect. I know this from the Boss himself, Butch Voris. I had a long talk with him at the Blue Angels airshow at Oceana NAS (VA) in 1993. There was no such color as what is now known as Blue Angles Blue then and the new demonstration squadron wanted something a little different than Non-Specter Sea Blue. So a decision was made to use a gloss Insignia Blue overall. In case you would like to take this on and redo it, Insignia Blue is FS 35044, sample attached. I don't know how to make it glossy in MSFS, as the original is matte, as shown by the FS number. Thanks again for all your...

Chief, just updated the linker with no problems. It recognized my network as before. Not sure why you are having problems. Maybe in the cfg file. Check that out.

Hi, all. Does anyone know if there is a new set of sounds for the MSFS Beech 18? These sounds are flat out horrible. I've been around these things and have flown them and they sound nothing like they do in the sim. Thanks for any help. Don BP;)

I have been using this awesome application since it was first made available, but I ran into a problem this morning. I am in the process of moving all of my addons to a NAS drive I have, connected to my home network. The previous version of this app detected the NAS drive when I went to add a library to the custom list. However, when I tried the latest version, which was released a day or so ago, my network is not detected. Does anyone have a previous version of MSFS Addon-linker that you can share? I submitted a comment on the Flightsim.to page, but no idea when the author of the app will respond. NC

I do not know if Lockheed-Martin really did anything about the coding for pushback, but in FSX, directional pushback seemed to be one of those unfinished features.

Q)Marc Marquez has taken his first pole position since the 2019 Japanese Grand Prix on a qualifying day at the 2022 event which was disrupted by a major thunderstorm. The Repsol Honda rider will be joined on the front row by Pramac Ducatiís Johann Zarco and Red Bull KTMís Brad Binder, while none of the title contenders could do any better than sixth, and the Ducati Lenovo Teamís Jack Miller took seventh after topping a dry Free Practice 1 on the afternoon prior. Rain lashed Motegi during Moto2 qualifying, which caused the third and final free practice session for the premier class to be abandoned in order to fit in the two sessions which would decide the MotoGP grid. The track was still wet for Qualifying 2 despite the showers having eased off, and Marquez was...
