In his base FSX-SE scenery folder, he had moved a file called mitigated. I took that alone out and it did away with the extra trees. I used the date as a clue and went back to the date he called me about the problem, May 19. Again thanks. and I lucked on this one. Cazzie

Rick - Your F-86 looks fantastic! Makes me want to update DCS (which I haven't used for several months).

Is that freeware? If so, where do I download it? It would be neat to see one of those painted up like the L-39 in “Goldeneye”!

Hey guys, thank you all for everything, treatments have begun and I feel gross but I know it’s for the better. The doctors are optimistic with the progress thus far and so is my family and I. So there’s a nice update and I owe it to you all. You have my eternal gratitude! So, to the reason for my post; A few questions. 1. What aircraft on the Virtavia freeware site are compatible for the most part or in whole for FS9 that aren’t listed as FS9 aircraft? 2. Would anyone be able to make them more compatible if needed? 3. I downloaded a BV-107 with the large sponsons that was made originally for FS8 using the first FSDS. It shows but no rotors, could someone or would someone be kind enough to update the model for everyone since it’s currently the only one of its kind close enough for FS9?...

Good summary, positive finish onto a new platform X Plane with much improved functionality and endless potential (especially Linux based). I have enjoyed the mods and advice over the years (BAC 1-11 Metroliner) but I agree the MIT is a gem and much appreciated. Having shared a similar journey - this week marked the end of my efforts with FSX as well. (Mostly improvements and scenery). Still good to see you have the hardened engineers view of aviation as we pointy end drivers would say, typical black hand!. Hah! See you over at X Plane.

Mmmmmmm..R, Looking good again. Do they have a hit on FR's at all? IMHO, the two most important ones to get right, are these town ones and the generic open countryside. And you 've hit both well. Be careful of overall darkness. I appreciate they're based on GE pics, and GB is after all a 'green and pleasant land' (bloody rain! lol), but see if you can do a touch of brightening or lightening them, also a touch of sharpness to the texs which would help when at a lower alt. Cheers Shessi

Last weekend we had the Model Expo aka the original IPMS Nationals. Always a great way of catching up with old friends and finding out who is still alive! I was rather grumpy with the standard of aircraft modelling last year so I resurrected a long ago abandoned project and entered this Spitfire. Surprisingly it did OK for a modest (almost) 'Out of The Box' effort. :biggrin-new:

Cross posting this from the FSX forum, but seeing as some of the screenshots on the page are from P3Dv4, you can at least see it works. Plus, as Baz's He111 is the primary thing that got me to actually finish and release it, that's a proper P3Dv4 package and you might want somewhere to fly it from. One of Mike's Messy-schmitts and a random Stuka that isn't actually for P3Dv4 appear, too. If you don't want to, don't visit, don't download, sorted! :very_drunk: Cheers, Ian P.

Well, in light of the lack of posts here and the fact that everyone has wandered off to pastures new, I thought I'd try and post something nice instead... So have a scenery if you want it. :playful: It's taken me a heck of a long time to find out enough about Lille-Nord (Which turns out to be Marcq-en-Baroeul in a former guise...) to be able to even attempt to make it but even then. there's little enough that I've found that this is a representation, not an even vaguely accurate recreation, of the place as it was. Just in case you felt a hole in your sim that needed filling to fly Axis aircraft out of, however, you can find the scenery here: Cheers, Ian P.

I have been told it is possible so in order to make things easier for me I am interested to know how I can import my controller settings from P3D V4.5 into X-Plane 11.35. I have looked in the Resources/Keyboard Presets and there are 2 files: FSX.keys and X-Plane 10.keys but I have no idea how it works. Any help from Ted or other experts would be much appreciated. Learning X-Plane is much harder than FSX or P3D ever were :banghead:.

Once 'in' sim, it is available from the drop down menu from Analysis/Pilot Records. It's a clunky piece of kit in all honesty. And why they couldn't just call it Logbook :pop4:
