I just went there to see what I might see. What I saw was a white page with this note: "Please bear with us, due to a PHP upgrade, FS-Shipyard's portal requires a replacement Redirecting you to FS-Shipyard's Forum in five seconds, or click here." When I clicked there I got to the FS Shipyards forum. The index is there but shown the latest post with a date in February 2018. I don't know if it's still possible to post new messages but the old ones are still accessible. It seems that only the forum remains, and there are no notes about the downloads. It looks like they may be gone.

one issue i'm seeing is that at night, some light source (flashlight?) causes the ejector seat texture to blink. very good looking model, wish list 1) collimated reticle or period incorrect HUD to make it useful (recycle asobo's Fa18e HUD), not used for weapons 2) radar data for north america 3) pilot figures: allow use of asobo's fa18e figures one thing i also noticed in VR is that the pilot figures are not quite sized correctly wrt cockpit (or world scale is a bit off?).

I remember pretty much what you did; I just have to fiddle about and re-learn the details. I do remember that it wasn't difficult once I knew what was needed. Cutting and pasting and re-arranging, if I recall, not any actual re-painting. Well, not unless I come upon something that I've learned to do better in the intervening time. I also have to figure out which of the numerous skins I have that I painted and which ones I got from others. I have very little hobby time these days but I will get to it before too long. Cheers, Mick

I misspoke about the speed brake. I was trying to address just thrust reversers.

The latest issue seems to be that it just takes a couple of minutes to load in. The starting with clear bit was for repeat flights. The issue was (several updates back) that you'd finish one fight on live weather, then set up another one, but all you'd get is clear skies. For that, Asobo said to start your first flight in clear weather, then select live once you've clicked Fly Now. Personally, I haven't seen this issue. It may be related to which regional server you're on.

He does that with every MSFS aircraft that he reviews. In my MSFS book he is THE best aircraft reviewer you wouldn't want to miss. Hard to find an MSFS add-on aircraft, freeware or payware, that he didn't review. It's only the T-6 review for now but i'm sure he'll do all other aircraft from the Reno package as well. Here's his T-6 review : https://youtu.be/QaD-OV5FnZo And here the complete collection : https://www.youtube.com/c/IntotheBlueSimulations You wouldn't want to miss these ! :encouragement:

With my new computer I made the switch from boxed FSX Acceleration to FSX Steam Edition. Installation was a breeze, although I do recommend installing it a directory other than C:\Program Files (x86).
