Thanks, gents, for the info. I was not aware of the geforce software. Is the "Experience" the name of the program? I suppose it's available as a free download from nvidia.

Several weeks ago I proposed a series of modifications to MilViz to add some variations to the old S-64s. I was given permission to modify them in limited fashion to add some new versions. Versions, I felt should have been included in the original package. I am modifying the firefighting version (per my SOP). The primary operation of the S-64s is not with the water cannon on them. Here in the US where they are primarily used, the water cannon is not equipped on the Erickson versions. However, several other variations of the S-64 exist in the US (also without the water cannon). I will be doing those models. As well as the the Italian F models with the Radome in the noses. The ram snorkel will remain functional on the Erickson model(s). However, another overlooked feature was the inoperable...

Thanks for all of your tips on the GeForce experience. I've had this card for years and never knew about most of these features. It was your earlier tip that showed me how to take in game screen shots with it. I just wanted you to know what you're posting is big help. Ken

Hi everyone, I'm trying to figure out this livery add on thing (Could they have been more Rube Goldberg about it? \ s). I think I have everything where it belongs and used the layout.json file made from the generator tool pinned up above. However, I don't have a manifest.json. What is that file and where do I get it/make it? Thanks, Ken

Correction: What Tom said. Esc-Esc is what I was doing when I wanted to pause (because many of the planes would stall and start falling out of the sky with the in game pause). To get out of the game I do use ESC then select the End (Main Menu) with the mouse.

If you have a GeForce card, the "Experience" overlay gives you the option to use a much less intrusive counter. I'm guessing other cards have similar packages. I also use the overlay for screenshots and video. I no longer have to go into my FSScreen folder and convert bitmaps to jpeg, which is a major time saver!

On mine, Esc has always been labeled as "Toggle Pause." The key sequence for me is Esc > End > Enter. But I keep my mouse between my stick and throttle, so it's just quicker for me to hit Esc and then mouse back the rest of the way.

Dino is almost done with testing. He is hoping to have the manual and paint kit posted at his site tomorrow. That's not a promise, just what he's hoping to do.

I uninstalled FS2020, then tried to reinstall in hopes that would sort things out. No Joy, this was the message prompt I got which is very frustrating. Still no answer from their support desk:

Gavin, were you successful in getting the autogen scenery items to show through the prop blur disk? Did you use Paul's original FS2004 TBD for the conversion?
