OK, here's the REALLY easy fix, unless you want uber-realism. Open the aircraft.cfg file for each Alpha C-130 you have installed in Notepad. Drop down a bit and locate the section, it should look like this: max_battery_voltage = 24 generator_alternator_voltage = 28 max_generator_alternator_amps = 500

Well, son of a biscuit.. Its the battery. :glee: Actually, all I have to do is add a Generator switch to the panel and a Battery switch just to show off, then double check the CFG to make sure they'll work and that should do it. :jump: I'll post the full fix once I have everything tested. :wiggle:

Believe me, this has been a long term project (since 2010 or so). :loyal: I come back to it every couple of years, then get frustrated and leave it be for a while. Something, somewhere is screwing up the FS spreadsheet just enough to "turn off" the Tower and Ground parts of the sim's ATC. While its unlikely, it is possible that the MDL(s) used the old trick of making the parts in a scenery compiler then stripping out the code with a hex editor to produce the MDL. :playful: What I'm going to try next is dumping everything below the block in the CFG file and replacing it with the data from the KBT P-3, except for the gear-and-scrape and eye point blocks. Then try a taxi test in FS9 and FS02 and see if got corrected. If that works, I'll make an Ugly take off and give a full test...

Yeah, if you look at the 2D textures, in some areas the striping had to be made quite wobbly/jagged (polygon-to-polygon) so that the same striping may appear straight when applied on the model (fighting against distortions/sheer). Hi S, I know, these things can be frustrating, and no it can't be the mdl. Just to put your mind at rest, copy the C130 mdl over, rename and susbstitute for the Orion mdl in that folder. I'm sure it will work fine there, test and see. What you really need to do is sustitute the whole C130 airfile and ac.cfg file, for the Orion ones, renaming etc where neccessary. Again, I bet it will then work. Then replace with the original C130 airfile...see if that works, if it does, then the problem is the C130 ac.cfg file. If it doesn't work, swap back to the working renamed Orion airfile and do like-wise with the ac.cfg, if that works then its the original airfile, and if it doesn't, it's both the original airfile AND the ac.cfg...see where I'm going with this! lol.
