Hi guys, Brian Gladden was kind enough to upload his FSX model conversion of the B-26K in another thread. But, this is how the glass shows up on my end. I've replaced the glass texture with ones I know works, but no change. I'm guessing it's a material problem? Anyone know what the problem might be? Thanks, Bob.

We had the Ford Trimotor in Wilmington but it just didn't work out. I found unpacking cartons the other day my Collins Foundation B-24 "Witchcraft" t-shirt I got when it was at Chicago Executive Airport in Illinois that I was privileged to get aboard. They also had the B-17G "Aluminum Overcast" there as well and I got to tour that too. Couldn't get to fly in it though cause back then it was $300.00 for a 1 hour flight and with a wife and family sadly it wasn't justified. Ford Trimotor was only $65.00 but I couldn't find out if that was to taxi around; do a circuit or just to walk around in it. Moot point though since I couldn't get there with other obligations that weekend.

I haven't gotten to creating a WWI install yet, so have not commented on many of your recent works, but could not hold my tongue on this, outstanding work Westfront, your recent work has me gathering things together for a WWI install. Can't wait to fly this strange yet beautiful looking bird.

I also do not have the time or patience to learn all the in-depth operating requirements of every aircraft I want in my flightsim hanger. Often you might just want to take a look at a scenery with an appropriate plane, for a nice screenshot maybe. A CTRL-E/no failures model would do fine. It needs to look right, with authentic handling characteristics is all. Don't knw if anyone has done this, but it must surely be feasible to buy a Lite Model at a reasonable price. If you like it, and want the Real Deal, a further payment unlocks all the rivets and oil changes.

Next year will be the 80th anniversary, this will a really great moment for all those who will attend. In any case the celebration of d day, one of the most important event in History, is an excellent opportunity to remind to the youngest that all previous generations have paid an immense tall to the freedom of mankind and the comfort of many. It is a lesson to share that fearing and crying is helpless when danger is coming. Time were not better in the past, ancestors of 99.9% have essentially survived during a short, sometimes very short, life. So enjoy the time and work to build a better one. Don't wait.

Well,,,,,WRT to my well known preferences :biggrin-new:, firstly, how are the Nachtjagd aircraft, inc. the Uhu, going? Then, as for BC bombers, the big 3 4 engine bombers, with in many ways, the Wellington being equally important, and worth updating if not too time consuming. (I still have to upgrade TOW I Whitley missions!) The Wellington Mk.IIIs and Xs were still in use until mid or late 1943 at least. before being replaced mostly by Halifaxs. Then there are other well known RAF ac I would like....................:wiggle:

The first C-47 to reach Normandy on June 6, 1944 was in my town (near Indianapolis) today, and I was able to get a private tour of her. It reminded just how good that particular repaint of Manfred's C-47, available here at SOH, really is. I'll attempt to post a couple of pics later.

In all things I do I don't take any credit but thank the Lord for the knowledge I have doing so many things in flight sim or pointing me to someone who can help. From time to time I can even share a little knowledge with others in things they are trying to do. Here below is the result: Last night after trying to understand WHY the aircraft just ended up on the ground instead of on the platform, I remembered when I was creating aircraft carriers and the aircraft kept ending up in the hanger bay or worse in the ocean under the hull. Why? Because I had not created a "hard deck" platform in Model Converter X on the flight deck. Back to MDCx. I had to create an mdl file NOT a bgl scenery file first. Because you can't attach things to scenery. Opened up the mdl in MDCx but I couldn't...

RAF Wethersfield for FS9 by Ian Elliot 05/06/23 This is an old scenery i found over at Flightsim that i'd forgotten about, and thought i'd rework it a little to use with my recent Sculthorpe and Alconbury, although the 20th TFW received their F100's at roughly the same time Sculthorpe lost their B45's for B66's ive tweaked the ADE, made up a better ground poly and used better objects, If you have Sculthorpe installed ,then you'll have everything you need
