Nice Bomber, though shots like these cause me to muse at the dearth of Mythic Warbirds to fly in this lovely sim. I continue to feel that one of the first, the Corsair, is still one of the best. Would love to have a fly of a Late Zero after flying an F-G1D or Wildcat, assuming the flying characteristics were accurate.

I did the FSX conversion with Brian Gladden's files and I have the same mirrored canopy glass that you have. I'm in the middle of downloading DaveQ's FSX-native A-26 (not A-26K) from SOH and I will check the canopy glass texture(s) in that plane. They may work with the Counter Invader. Edit: No luck with the glass textures. Hopefully somebody else will post with a fix.

Hey Guys, I just uploaded the next part of my series of campaigns for the IJN fighters over the Solomons. It contains 45 missions in which you get to fly the A6M3 Model 32 and Model 22 Zeros against a variety of American and New Zealand fighters and bombers. Starting in December 1942 and going until August of 1943, you will cover the Japanese evacuation of Guadalcanal, defend the airfields at Munda, Vila and on southern Bougainville against Allied air raids, escort bombers on the last strikes against Guadalcanal, and finally try to stop the Allied advance to the New Georgia island group. In between yoou will also be involved in the Battle of the Bismarck Sea. I started working on this while I was still doing the floatplane missions, therefore the short time interval since releas of...

thanks, John - Appreciate you. it's been slow going with all the real world intrusions - don't these people know that my 'work' is important? lol anyway - I'm still cleaning up and detailing the wheel wells and landing gear legs. We're still a ways from 'standing her up' as I like to call that point where the model stands on it's own LG for the first time, but progress is progress whether it's slow or fast

Hi TARPSBird, it's in the "Isn't this beautiful" thread at the bottom of page three. I should have mentioned it's only the exterior glass, interior is fine.

Bob, can you refer me to the thread with the link to Brian's FSX conversion? I'd like to try it myself and also see if I get the same cockpit glass anomaly as you are seeing.

Hi guys, Brian Gladden was kind enough to upload his FSX model conversion of the B-26K in another thread. But, this is how the glass shows up on my end. I've replaced the glass texture with ones I know works, but no change. I'm guessing it's a material problem? Anyone know what the problem might be? Thanks, Bob.

We had the Ford Trimotor in Wilmington but it just didn't work out. I found unpacking cartons the other day my Collins Foundation B-24 "Witchcraft" t-shirt I got when it was at Chicago Executive Airport in Illinois that I was privileged to get aboard. They also had the B-17G "Aluminum Overcast" there as well and I got to tour that too. Couldn't get to fly in it though cause back then it was $300.00 for a 1 hour flight and with a wife and family sadly it wasn't justified. Ford Trimotor was only $65.00 but I couldn't find out if that was to taxi around; do a circuit or just to walk around in it. Moot point though since I couldn't get there with other obligations that weekend.
