The advice I was given on flying helicopters on Fs(certainly a "black art") is when moving the controls try to "only pinch an inch",i.e very slight gentle movememnts. With the demise of the Hovercontrol site,I found this gave some good information: https://www.helisimmer.com/how-to-fly-helicopters

From your list my preference would be the P-51A but your planes are always really good so anything is fine for me :mixed-smiley-010:

Although I'm from the other sim, I would really like to see a new version of the Fiat G.50 and/or the Macchi MC.200. Personally I think the available models are a bit dated. (And I most probably your models will work without issues in FS9 as well :biggrin-new:). When you decide to do one of these, I would like to make a small request. Can you do multiple version with different canopies? And these are of course aircraft used at several theatres of war........ Cheers, Huub

Its an impressive aircraft, but too many engines and not enough propellers for me :biggrin-new:. Nevertheless the "Big Ugly Flying Fellow" (to avoid the other explanation of this abbreviation...) is definitely the most iconic post-war bomber. When it will stay in service until 2050, as planned. It will have been operational for 95 years!!! Enjoy flying the B-51 :very_drunk:, but I most probably will stick to something less complex to fly. Cheers, Huub

Goof evening Huub, at the beginning a teacher told me "helicopter flying is as if you try to keep balance on a board which is on a ball" Oh yes indeed. But with today automated systems things are got a lot easier. As you show the flettner, the most important with this chopper to keep just a bit speed forward. Till you have a bit speed things goes quiet well. Deck landings are possible - with a lot of exercisse When one time "you have got it" you wouldn t miss chopper flying Best regards

That's how it was done before this last Windows update. I had made a short load of the sim to check out the Top Gun 1980's Miramar scenery. Everything worked fine. I exited the sim normally, did some other stuff, and left the computer on when retiring for the night. In the morning, a notification popped up saying the computer needed to restart to fiunish updating, so I allowed it. That's when all the trouble started. The Win 11update was from Build 23H1 to 23H2. Yhat's when all my programs disapeared, and most of my .exes also disappeared. That's also when Windows update said I had an update for AMD Accelerator, which was just updated from the AMD website 2 days before, and was working fine. I installed a new, high speed NVMe 4TB stick, and downloaded the sim to it. Everything working,...
