Go to the MS Store app (not the website) and pull up your version. That should trigger a small update. Once that's done, launch the sim and it should pull the large update. Restart the sim, then go to the Marketplace and "Buy and Download" the Japan package.

I dont know what it is with these guys Bob, but they seem to relish slow downloads.. From what I remember when i was using the XBox Game Pass. there are some differences in functionality as well as number of aircraft and Scenery's.. But outside of that, there isnt much difference "If I recall". Mind you, my memory is nothing to crow about and I could be very wrong.. I DID become very frustrated with the One Dollar a month Game Paass Version as I felt it just wasnt complete, ( more like, I wanted more than a cessna to fly )So I purchased the upgrade through the Game Pass to the Full version which was 89 dollars. I then got completely P'O'd at the Game Pass version, cancelled my subscription and bought the 120 dollar version straight out.. Same number of planes as in the upgrade by...

Yep - water is definitely an issue. Thankfully, I do most of my flying over land.

Below a screenshot from the FSX version. The models are indeed different. It seems the FS9 version is a not fully finished model. Cheers, Huub

Figured out my problem and it was flying in 4k with my TV at 1920x1080, changed my resolution to 4k, same as sim and horrible anti-aliasing went away. Only thing I don't like is seeing the same water texture copied over and over, really noticeable.

I am running MSFS from the $1 Xbox live. Is there any difference from the full price version. Reason Iím asking is that I downloaded 3 new sceneries, put them in the community folder and they donít show up on the world map. The sim also crashes to desktop after a couple of minutes. I have the sim loaded on my E: drive. getting more and more frustrated with this thing. Have a very slow d/l speed (took two days to d/l) and now another large update to download. Nice graphics but finding Iím enjoying XP-11 much more.

I thought when MSFS starts, and I get the "looking for updates" screen, that it would install any updates. Apparently not. Would someone please let me know how to update this sim? Thank you!! NC Note: I purchased the sim (Standard version) from the Microsoft Store. I went to my account, but do not see any links for updating....

Welll, I dont know what you mean by native code, but thats exclusively on me as I'm not a coder. However, I've been working on converting several aircraft with another person for some time now, and from the standpoint of a flight model guy, the new isnt any different that the old. Oh sure, they finally eliminated the .air file, but its still there with its values wrapped up in other config files. Theres really no change, from a flight model perspective.. XML wise, theres a lot of changes that ive seen come across the chatter on a server i belong too, but those changes do not directly effect your legacy aircraft ( beyond there being more than one config file now ). It's very much like the more things change the more they stay the same.. Allow me to offer evidence via an FSX aircraft that...

Hear, hear!! And toss in the fact, most of these 'projects' take a lot of time, and effort...all freely done...simply because nuts (like me) happen to enjoy it. Take it, as it comes.

That's an interesting thought, but I interact with ATC pretty much all the time (out of habit), and my takeoffs and landings are super inconsistent... pretty cool to have 3 landings with only 2 takeoffs, or vs vs...

Hi Huub, The FCS Fury has the lower wing mounting points in FSX as I thought you could install it in either sim. Is the Fs9 version different to the FSX one?

This ought to be a sticky! Great looking Concorde, can't wait to see this in P3D and MSFS, but also great that you've still released it for FSX. :ernaehrung004:
