Richard (tgycgijoes) asked me to take a look at the USS Antietam CV-36 and asked if I could create it. It is the last carrier that is still missing from the Essex range. After some time working on this model I started to "tinker" the carrier. Since I set a clear time limit for it, it will certainly not be the perfect model, but it should be "usable". The USS Antietam CV-36 was rebuilt in 1951 as the first U.S. Navy angled-deck carrier. From 1957, she received further changes during the dockyard period and from then on, she was in duty as a training-carrier in the US Navy. So I will try to create the carrier in different construction stages, each of which represents the status of the changes. It starts with the 1952 USS Antietam CV-36. The pictures below show what I have done...

Thanks for notifying! As far as I can recall this is the second time this happens in a few weeks. As the screenshot thread was closed "automatically" as well. I tried to find out what had caused this, but did not succeed so far. I hope the other information was useable. Cheers, Huub

For those of you who were asking for the AIM-7 Sparrow... Although these won't make it into the update being released next week, they will follow in a further update, in which I'll be upgrading the weapons selection system for both the Hornets and the Eagles, allowing for greater ordnance choices and variability in load-outs, as well as adding a few further missile and bomb choices. Assuming no further bugs are found, they'll be the last updates to the two packages prior to converting the Eagles to X-Plane 11, and both packages to FS2020 format.

Well Pat, you have already got TAA. TAA classic (polished alloy) is in the Upgrade and we have QANTAS, Ansett and Queensland Air coming in the livery packs. We must remember that there are hundreds of schemes from all over the globe and some of them need representing too.:engel016:

It was just a torus test object about a 0.3 meters in diameter. Vertices are more than 4mm apart, actually about 8mm apart. Collapsing to e-poly did not seem to help . still looking for that light-bulb moment thanks guys
