If anyone has a chance to go to Pearl Harbor they should. At times you do need permission to go some ceremonies but it's not a big problem. Hiede

So, now is a good time to look at some of the competition. :wiggle: It was tough to accurately model the F-16 but some folks got pretty close in different areas. Keep in mind, DCS probably does the best job but I don't run DCS. :playful: -The KBT Mitsubishi F-2. It looks a LOT like an F-16 by design, let's just call it Viper San. :applause: KBT really wanted to push the boundaries with this freeware for FS9 and FSX. What you get seems to have been mis-understood. It flies like a single engine fighter hauling stores under the wings, as opposed to Kirk's Viper which really models a slick load out. Well worth the download just to get the Sound folder, but don't sell this plane short. Install the whole package and take it up for some fun. Crank it into some high AOA maneuvers...

I hope so, Scoobyman. I just finished the Il-2 version of the above mission. :wiggle: Right now I'm looking for aircraft for a night, bombing mission. Namely I'm looking for a mid-war Pe-8 or Lend Lease B-25. Cheers PS: I found a Pe-8 in our Warbirds Library as well as 3 B-25 skins :a1310: :applause:

I dunno about the registry entries. When I started loading up the new rig (still not quite finished and still something of a work in progress) I installed FS9 and GW3 from scratch to make sure all the required registry keys and the folders on the C drive got created, just in case Win10 put them somewhere different from Win7. It didn't, but I was concerned because when I went from WinXP to Win7, FS did put some things in different places. Then I just copied my FS installations and the C-drive stuff from my backups into where they belong. Not difficult or tricky, just boring and time consuming. I would've been happier if I could've just clicked "clone to there," gone to bed and got up in the morning with everything in place and working. I could've done that if I'd been able to keep...

My only suggestion if this is ETO is to delete and start from the beginning; or put the current install elsewhere.

That's a huge effort Shadow Wolf! Eagerly awaiting this one. Haven't flown much on the Eastern Front, this sounds like it will be very interesting to fly.

Still haven't gotten mine fixed. I'm relegated to flying from the same airbase, same time of day, same weather!

OK, I admit to CRAFT.. the last step in my previous **&^^% Editor repair was the danged cookie cleaning. Of corse, clearing any SOH cookies means the minor agony of logging in again, but... At least you know that if FF won't play nice you have a browser option.

Well, it's got to be said, Ken, if only she'd fly as beautiful as she looks... IMHO the relation between these two phenomena should be much more close to each another (and i don't mean anything should be tempered with regarding her beauty... ;-) I gave up on my FS sweatshop already before MSFS came to town, including repainting (although i used to love that very much !) so i can't help you with the Chippy there, Ken. Hopefully someone might step foreward here for you. All the best to you and your family, my friend! Cheers, Jan P.S. to all DC-3 afficionados here: anyone remember that we had to fly the first ever DC-3 in FS (FS5 'Flightshop' additional external DC-3 model by John Kerry. All IIRC....) with the Cessna 172 panel ?? (and 172 sound !??..) It was Kenneth here who...

Here, here Javis and YoYo, I hear you. The same here. If they're going to the trouble to get a master aircraft model, the least they can do is put a proper pilot in the seat! I'll stay with Aeroplane Heaven and Flying Iron, who have proper pilots for their models. Cazzie

Awesome! Thanks, Tom! A lot of other planes are going to start getting dusty in my hangar with this one out. It's such an amazingly solid package. On my lunch break I was even able to use it as a towplane for my first glider flight!

Even if someone decided to write "The Idiot's Guide To MSFS." It would be obsolete in a year since Asobo loves to keep changing things up. This Lock interaction mode was designed for console users that don't normally have a KB/mouse attached, and was introduced to the sim as part of the Xbox release.

As I always like to say what the issue was, after a wasted number of hours I replaced the facility xml content with a similar more generic version and it worked. That meant replacing the generic with the specific contents bit by bit. In the process I discovered the most likely cause was a double " on a line like so "".:banghead: That in the end was the probable cause, as all works fine now! I have had similar issues before and looking at an old thread of mine gave me a hint!
