    Yeah, Good thought SW. But, Adobe stopped supporting PageMill years ago. Don't think its even on their radar screen anymore. Actually what I have in mind is maybe moving my site to friendlier environs. Maybe to someplace like DreamHost. MR

    Just checked with the aerobatic team Tutor as a portover in FSX SP2 & no, the aircraft does not create shadows on itself although ticked in the options, it only appears to darken the sides away from the sun or have a reflection towards the sun. Shadows do appear on the ground. No indication of any anomaly on the rudder or fin when rotated horizontally. Keith

    Very Correct ! What people seem to forget (or don't realise) is, that the Bounty visual model was never designed as an AI-boat. It was designed as a user-pilotable ship, where all animations (like sails configuration, masts angles, anchor position, and alike) are controlled by gauges defined in it's panel.cfg. Which aren't loaded/active when the ship is spawned as an AI-object. I'm not a visual modeller myself (I just made the animation control gauges), and I'm sure Milton will correct me if I'm wrong, but from what I know of modelling it would be quite possible to make a new, single, dedicated visual model of the Bounty that would look better when applied as an AI-ship. "Better" meaning: - When the ship is moving as AI, the anchor is visually raised. And visually lowered...

    Various comments on this from SOH posts "Open the folder of the aircraft, click open the xdp file which will open as a text file, near the top the guns are listed you will see may things Up, down, right and left limits and then the "rate Limit" This dictates how fast the gunner can move, lower the figure for the rear gunners as I am sure you have noticed it is only those boys that are NRA sniper grads. I have reduced mine to 07, but since my planes in BoB are all ACE, they are still killing me so have went to 05 and still. I have opened up the German formation from .6 to .9 (1.0 is stock) and all those things make it possible. But, that only covers their ability to track you. If you stay in one place you will be hammered. So you must keep moving as they are not ducks at the county...

    It's going to be awhile, as I don't have a ton of free time at the moment, but little by little it will get done. Right now I'm working on getting the top camo lined up, figuring out where the wing root paint gets applied, all of the cowl paint locations, the alpha, etc. Then I'll move to the bottom of the fuselage where the paint wraps around at the tail. Once I have all of the paint completed, I'll begin designing the markings. Once I have them designed I'll apply them to the model. Then I'll probably do a Pengie Paint scheme on the XP-72.

    Would it be possible to map the external textures to match the stock P-47's? Also, once upon a time Jon "DANCAT" Pratt started a P-47 pit. I have his GMAX files and his permission to use them. Would these be of any help?

    Hiya Guys, I got an email from AT&T website solutions saying that they are getting ready to upgrade from PHP 5.2 to PHP 7.2. The message included a link where you can plug in your website addy and check to see if your website will still function under the new PHP 7.2 regime. When I ran the check on mine I got an error message which I find, after contacting them by phone, means that my website will no longer function. It will become un-navigatable. I will still be able to upload and download files via the FTP server but that's is about it. I ask their tech support how to go about converting my web-page code so that they will still function and the reply I got is that: "We don't do code. Google on it." Pretty danged p-poor reply IMHO. Anyhow, I know next to nothing about PHP. I...

    How can i lower the bomber defensive guns range? They seem to be able to hit at a great distance and even at rookie settings i'm never unscathed after i attack. I think it would be somewhere in the aircraft .XML but not sure where. Want them set them to a more reasonable range.Don't whan't to make it too easy just more realistic. Thanks for any help.
