Hiya Rami, Thanks for the info. That is a shame. A nicely modeled JU86 (Civilian and/or military) would make a really nice addition to the CFS2 hangar. Its a very cool plane.

It took some lookin' but I found this and its here in our library with two stand-alone models for the C-47/DC3 V3 by the MJ team. Other textures will work with the Piedmont version (like the Southern Airways) so you can have whatever you want to fly. Personally, I would switch to this instead of the MAAM-SIM and as they say stop beating a dead horse. Just my "tuppence". FSX/P3D Modern VC (MVC) for Douglas C-47 V3.zip :banghead:

Understood but - I don't want to run Windows on this machine....Regardless if it's a virtual as well... :wiggle: Also please keep in mind that I don't have the time to dive into this like before....At most an hour or so a week....X-Plane looks like it will scratch that flight itch perfectly....

Chris, Technically, yes. But it's an ICARUS payware model, which isn't very good. It's also only a first-generation, SCW model, and the modelling itself is sub-par. Older than dirt and not work pursuing. I've had mine close to a dozen years and rarely use it.

Yeah Rami, I think hitting 49,000 feet in either of those aircraft in 1942 would be a big stretch, lol
