    Hi, You need to copy the textures from the fsx branch. (and use the models from the p3d branch) I had those blach airplanes as well. The installation instruction isn't that clear. Regards, Jan

    I recently purchased the Virtualcol Airbus A220 Series when it was on sale at SimMarket and while I was at it I grabbed the excellent paintkit from the Virtualcol site. I then saw a wonderful, but yet to be flown, aircraft being painted for Air Canada in a retro style based on the former Trans-Canada Air Lines scheme https://onemileatatime.com/air-canada-airbus-a220-retro-livery/ . That started me thinking about other recent retro schemes and out came the paintkit for a series of British 'what if's'.................     I thought perhaps that was the source of the problems for me, but I had completely deactivated everything in my Community folder, and the problem persisted. Thankfully all is ok for now. I am convinced the problem is with MS. NC

    Pete, Thomas "TiAr" from above has the Tornados running well. Please check if you have the correct models and/or textures added! I will have a look at the link inside the manual if I have a wrong link set maybe. So, please check if the Tornado package is the correct one for FSX/P3D, okay? The Tornados work... EDIT: I checked the link inside the manual, the link is correct.

    Two questions. Are you using default or replacement clouds? Do those cloud textures include MipMaps? Looks like the sim is loading a lower mipmap than would be ideal. Jamie

    About 99% of my CTDs on MSFS come from something I installed in the Community folder that MSFS did not like. I'd delete the latest install into the Community folder and all was fine. The pay version of Chicago was terrible for that, but thankfully they found the fix and all works now. I also delete frame killers. Much of the add-on scenery uses photogrammetry and that crap will kill FPS. I could have used photogrammetry when I did KDAN (Danville, VA) for MSFS, but decided to go with MSFS's generic look alike buildings simply to keep FPS high. Cazzie

    Thank you for response, Pete. On the one hand, I am very happy that the scenery also seems to work in P3Dv5. On the other hand, I would recommend to maybe ask over there at MAIW for a solution. But when the models appear well except for the textures, there might be a big chance to solve the problem :applause:

    Manschy, Your scenery is beautiful! The only problem I am experiencing is textural, with the Tornados being all black. I am sure I did something incorrect on installation, but not sure where. Maybe because I am running P3DV5.1, and the MAIW files aren't playing nice.... NC
