What's really cool is flying below the clouds and seeing the cockpit shadows change by the clouds blocking the sun. And real reflection in the skin, not static like FSX. Also give PTA a try. Good source of info here: http://www.nzfsim.org/index.php?dsp=PTA&preset=21_10#current

I've been doing some research on this, the Walter HWK 109-500 rockets weighed 125kg produced 500kg of thrust each, for a total of 1,000kg of thrust. They burned for 30 seconds and were then dropped via static line parachute. The Jumo 004s produced 903kg of thrust each for a total of 1,806kg of thrust. So to make this work, the aircraft will be set up with four engines - 1 and 2 are the main jets, and located accordingly; 3 and 4 will be stand-ins for the the two rocket motors and located accordingly. Since you only get one set of engine parameters, these will be set up for the Jumos. The thrust of the rockets will be adjusted another way. The visuals will be the two rocket pods, set up as drop tanks. They will weigh a total of 125kg each, and this will be divided between the weight of the...

At age 70, I would appreciate *any* help. Please send link. I am not good at xml language, period. Keep getting this message also. Error ID 3 System cannot find path. File ./Mission/Military/CarrierPractice/Sound/CarrierPractice_21, 22, 23, 24.wav Have to click OK 9 times to get rid of it. Then the flight will continue. Will this dotnet make it stop asking for this Mission thing? Any idea how to get rid of it? Thanks

I know google streetview but it never occurred to me to use it for Locher. :banghead: After I saw it I realized where you sourced your textures from and they are great, really! I have now finalized the runway and taxiway slopes. The basic spec for being able to climb the taxiway and the uphill runway is a 150HP SuperCub. The 172 still can't make it, while a microlight like a Pou de Ciel can. The A2A 182 is marginal while all the metal Pipers (A2A Cherokee, Comanche, JF Arrow) can't make it. It is a piece of cake for the Beaver and all of the turboprops like the Kodiak. I think it makes good sense so I'll now proceed with the rest of the modelling and texturing.

Yup.. these threads are hot as rocks for a while then sometimes die and come back to life later!! You have to be in the right place at the right time!! The FD's talked about in that thread are the ones I posted.. v2.7. It's quite possible that the original uploads at vendors were updated to take the new airfiles and cfgs into account. If the final line on the update list shows v2.7 FDE Update.. you already have the latest files. Do your tailhook and launch assistance entries read like this: tailhook_length= 4.1 cable_force_adjust= 0.95 tailhook_position = -14.7, 0.0, -1.0
