    Hi Chaps, While taking a look at CSG-7 composition, I found I already had a 4-ship conversion done by Lazarus (available here in the library) but only one of the ships represented DESRON-7 for this period, USS Decatur DDG73. So.. to make up the numbers, I've rehashed the side numbers to make another 4; USS McCampbell DDG85, USS Gridley DDG101, USS Howard DDG83 and USS Benfold DDG65. If anyone would like them, you can get them HERE Full credit to the original author and to Lazarus for the conversion. All I've done is lob a little grey paint around the bow and added some new numbers.

    I went over to Simviation this morning to look in on the forums and I got a big white banner from my Norton AV stating that the website was listed as dangerous in bright red letters. May be an FP, maybe not but I've never had problems with that site before. Just an FYI. BB686:US-flag:

    Hello, In my copy, the click spots all work in the predefined views except in the overhead views for the captain and first officer. I suspect that this is because the view points are just outside the model, this is the usual cause of click spots not working. I have made some small changes, please back up your aircraft.cfg file. Then copy all the text in the attached file and paste it over all the camera definitions at the end of the aircraft.cfg file. You should then find that click spots work in all the included predefined views.

    Does anyone on the development team know why all the buttons and switches work in regular VC but NOT in the camera views. It is more convenient to use HotKeySelect keys to go directly to areas of the cockpit. I can go there perfectly but none of the switches work in those views. Otherwise I think the new version and I have applied the fixes is fantastic. Especially the luminous gauges at night. WOW!!! Is it realistic. I have wanted to fly for the past couple of days but real life got in the way. I hope to fly in just an hour or so today. Looking forward to new tweaks and surprises. I have been watching the WWII training video I downloaded and then getting in the cockpit and it is like time travel. Thanks so much for ALL your hard work on this and sharing it.     For those who are having problems getting TrackIR to work properly, a few tips from a battered and bruised TIR warrior. 1. Make sure there are no extraneous lights in the background that can interfere with the sensor reading the clips reflection or LEDs. Sunlight or bright lights in the background will often cause the sensor to get confused. When this happens it "tilts" (to use an old pinball expression). By that, I mean, the virtual head literally flips upside down and the screen goes kaflooey, to use another old expression, this time engineering. ;) If you look at the setup screen with the cross hairs that moves with your head, on the top left is a drop down box arrow. Click on that. You will see several views. One of these views shows the reflections the sensor sees as green...

    You're right. It's an older model. Shows on external view, not in the vc. I have the connie by Manfred Jahn. A different varient with a very good virtual cockpit though. It was started but never completed. If you like I can get 'er done. Of course it will mean starting your panel over again. The radome and wing tip tanks can be nixed. Also there are tons of repaints.

    Runs fine for me. A friend who's ancient computer got only 8FPS in FSX reports that he's in the mid-20's with P3D. I went from about 20-30 FPS to 100-120FPS. Depending, of course, where I'm flying (aka scenery involved). As falcon said - it's really hard to say, but I think it worth the gamble.

    Good morning, I bought the ADV package for the Phantom and now I cannot move the throttle anymore... I try to explain: I can move the throttle levers from "cut off" to "idle" with a mouse click. But then they are kind of locked. Even when I do the startup exactly with a tutorial, I cannot move them. All worked finde until I installed the ADV package. I tried to deactivate the realism settings, no success. I use fsx steam, In the addon management system of milviz there is no point "increase or decrease" engine power. All other planes in my fsx work normal with my button config. I know this is perhaps the most sophisticated military jet for FS, but this is strange... Any ideas?

    No worries about working on the masters as I want too be able too paint the model with my antique software as well. I got the right wing done last night / this morning. That just leaves the Engines which I will take a look at tonight. Steve

    The Mitchell-wing fsx works in v4 .It was freeware at one time but a quick (very quick) search at Aerosoft didn't find it. Gone ?
