I dont know of a flight plan for the loop but if you Google "mach loop route" you should find plenty of map images of it. I must have flown it thousands of times in every sim from FS9 to FS2020 in just about every plane imaginable. I usually take of from EGOD Llanbedr runway 18 Here a lap I did in Aerofly FS2 after messing with the terrain tools for it

Is anyone else having issues getting the camera to work? When I click on the icon it doesn't open the camera window. I thought it was because I was in developer mode, but running the program without developer mode still didn't open the camera.

This hangar is reported missing from my library when I try to fly from Dunkirk. Funny thing is it IS there in my OBJECTS_DP folder but not in my SCENEDB/inf folder. I couldn't find which scenery pack had it. None that I had. Sorry to be such a pain with missing thing guys, but I'm rebuilding my WWI install. Thanks.

I hear you . I too wasnt in the test programme. Just means we're all in the same boat. So the question becomes... do you spend time modifying your stuff to work as ports... or embrace the new paradigm and hope the SDK is fleshed out sooner rather than later ? Or build for both? release one and msfs to come later ? Some devs still arent utilising true PBR for P3dv4+. There is obviously a market for ports however moving forward I cant see backwards compatibility lasting if Asobo need/want a feature that would essentially kill the portover addon. I happen to think it is still very early on in the life of MSFS to think that portovers are locked in. Next patch could change it all again and you need to rethink the process. I'd also argue that the majority of new users to msfs dont even...

I think as long as the gauges are .cab files they will work. I know next to nothing about how gauges work but of all the aircraft I've tried to convert that seems to be the commonality. And while I agree that older models don't take full advantage of the new sim, some of them still look great.

Hi YoYo, After some MSFS trips/adventures I decided to work again on Bugatti 100P and Soloys for P3DV5. Work is going on. I did some approvements on both external and interior models. All swiches and hands/pointers are 3D. Now I have to do most of animations in blender (which is completely new for me). Thomas

Much has not been resolved NC. Legacy ports are a way of getting your old FSX favourites into the sim but not much will work, like landing gears, doors, and the bulk of instruments. The question is whether you can stand all of that for the sake of watching the aircraft "fly" (after a fashion) in the new sim. Yes there are now conversion programmes to make it easier to convert the old stuff but I still don't know why you'd want to do that. FSX was not PBR so all textures will not be true PBR, so they can't take advantage of what MSFS has to offer in graphics. The reason you don't see many Vc shots of FSX ports is that usually there is quite a bt of 2D XML used in FSX and that does not work in MSFS, meaning you get just squares and rectangles where the gauges should be. I don't know if...

A new entry has been added to Add-Ons Library, category FSX Military skins - WWII Description: These are all replacement textures for the Flight Replicas Bf-109F for FSX. The main fuselage and, wings, and stabilizers have been doubled in size to 2048-pixels, then saved in a DDSDXT5 format. If you desire not to replace the .bmp textures, take them to a separate folder and save them to replace my DDS textures. I don't think you will if your rig is fast enough. I also made a prop blur to replace that atrocious black blur in the original for all flight models. The Thumbnails were left in their original condition without swastikas, except for my repaint included of Franz Ziegler's JG27 F-4. For that reason and in case the Europeans would like DDS textures without the swastika, I have...

I guess I should have mentioned how to find where they go! I guess in theory, one you click the load/save button, you could just navigate to the desktop to either load or save there. Personally, I'm using the default location. To find that spot, click the load/save, then click in the address bar of that window to see and highlight the actual path. What I did from there was to open another File Explorer window like Documents or whatever, then paste that location into the address bar and hit Enter. Once you're there, look on the left nav bar and right click on Quick Access, then pin that location to the list. On my system bought from the MS Store and using the default install location, the files are in ...8bbwe\LocalState.

So while investigating the strange behaviour of the Stirling at 2 airfields in QC (an in a mission), I note that Bassingbourn is not appearing in the mb map in 2 installs whereas it appears in the regular ETO Era 2 mb map. The gsl entry and faciltiies are the same except the TOW install/Era facilties have runway lights added. Ideas?? ETO Era 2 mb TOW Era 1 and ETO/TOW 10 era (era 3 = ETO era2) installs
