gecko replied to a thread mos files in CFS3 General Discussion
I have never been able to get an aircraft mos file larger than 1024x1024, however, a mos file can still be used with hi-res textures without loss of quality if you follow the old groundcrew design group tutorial here: Also, the filtering method used on the texture in the mos file does effect quality. IIRC linear gives the best results, but better to try different settings and see for yourself which is better than to trust my memory on that.

There is one in the library for the FS2004 A2A version, which will of course also fit the non-accusimmed FSX version. Cheers, Huub

Bjoern, just wanted to relay my sincere appreciation for all of your contributions and colorful banter through the years. I presently use MIT routinely, but unfortunately the only way I've learned to keep the "business" floating is using the An-2. That carries a lot of cargo for cheap. I'm still learning.. Thank you for all you've done and may you have blue skies where ever you fly.. Terry

Sweet!! I think I have all of his versions of that plane, but currently only have the L-159 in active status. May have to bring the "ZA" version out of the storage hanger at this point. Thanks for all your superb re-paints, even if they aren't all MiGs.:biggrin-new: BB686:US-flag:

Yea Dan trying to find ETO info on the other two variants H, and J, looks like its gonna be hard work lol May have found a possible H that served in the MTO, but need to find more reliable sources first? Original Microsoft research seems to be very iffy :biggrin-new: "Battle for Europe", hmmm I will do some PTO versions, some good nose art. Regards Andy, and SPman's comments yes the B-25 even looks narrow from the outside, I think most US medium bombers were quite narrow? The RAF's HP Hampden would take some beating though, lol that must have been claustrophobic!

***mini update*** "While not a huge or a rather sexy item, the team has implemented the declutter options for the SA page. It's based on the following declutter levels from pushbutton 7 that in turn displays the following options: OFF. All symbols are displayed REJ1. The following items are hidden: compass rose, lubber line, and SAM rings. REJ2: The following items are hidden: REJ1 items and Waypoint/OAP/TGT data, and TACAN data. MREJ1: Hide air defense symbols (SAM and AAA) and rings. MREJ2: Hide surface unit symbols (coming later). This is planned for one of the next Open Beta updates.

You can have your own folder for P3D addons at any location. If you point the SWS installer to that folder (as well as any similar installer) all will be installed correctly.

There's another thread about a weather radar mod - "Another radar gauge for VC & Window usage". They did some work on the PA31 on page 16. But it requires some expensive weather add-ons. :ernaehrung004:
