And I discovered the Auster Arrow that I had completely missed the first time around. Lovely little plane thanks again to Dave M for creating them in the first place. Gavin

Seeing a B-17 flying is becoming an ever rarer sight. There are only 5 that I would consider active right now - those being "Aluminum Overcast", "Sentimental Journey", "Texas Raiders", "Yankee Lady", and "Ye Olde Pub". "Sally B" hasn't flown since last year, due to the Corona Virus this year and no airshows. It sounds as though they're in pretty desperate need of donations in order to be financially capable of operating next year. "Thunderbird" was parked at the beginning of this year with no intention by the Lone Star Flight Museum of flying it again, and it is for sale. The National Warplane Museum ended its lease with the Tallichet family's B-17 "Movie Memphis Belle" late last year, and it is now in hibernation in Florida.

For whatever reason, the edit button is broken.. There is a new graphics engine and camera system, and the flight dynamics are something like a thousand times more granular (but still basically the same concept), but a lot of the base game is based on and will eventually be extended from FSX

I agree - I'm still using FSX though, not ready for that big hardware upgrade yet, but I think there are so many addons for it that I have everything I'll ever need. I was really looking forward to the Clipper, but I understand why it's not gonna be available for such an outdated platform - it is what it is. To me the only pain point is the unfinished Vega from Wing42 - myself and quite a few other people jumped onboard with and bought the Beta at full price thinking that we'll get a finished product at some point. The developer pretty much abandoned it at version 0.85 (still buggy and unfinished) and jumped on the MSFS bandwagon (actually working on a second addon for it now). He doesn't even communicate on the support forum anymore. It does bother me that he just took the money, but...

I was just about ready to start cussing, then I finally found a thread over at the official forum that got me back. I suggest bookmarking this or copying the instructions to a text file. https://forums.flightsimulator.com/t/fix-for-gray-out-marketplace-after-1-9-3-patch/291614

No such thing as crummy video of a bird like that! Where I work there is a local field with the Commemorative Air Force MN Wing that works on, among other aircraft, the B-25 Miss Mitchell. Every long so often I'll also hear that unmistakable rumble and I start looking up to catch a glimpse. So far I have never had enough time to get out the phone or I have been too busy to get it out. https://commemorativeairforce.org/aircraft/7

Hey Josh, I meant it was flying out of Alliance for the weekend. :mixed-smiley-010: Alliance was billing it as the Yankee Lady. I had to laugh at the sub note they had that "take-off time was solely left up to the crew". Best, Odie

Huub, All you have to do with small tex templates it to just re-size them using the recognised standard of 256/512/1024/2048 in Fs9 and 4096 in FSX. Teds Hind's are in 1024, you can re-size them to 2048, and carry on with your repaint, keeping them that size when saving...in the attched pic I've just resized them to 2048 and they display the same. Cheers Shessi

A few things are still the same, like "B" sets a correct altimeter, and F5-F8 operate the flaps, but I haven't found much else. I have most of the vital functions (except flaps so far) mapped to my X52.
