I only recently "discovered" Touch Portal, a really cool application that allows for a WiFi connection between a tablet (in my case, a Kindle Fire), and my PC, for controlling all sorts of things. Take for example, there's user-created templates for MSFS, so you can control instruments in the cockpit. There are plugins for VLC player, OBS streaming software, and Windows functions.

It was posted before here, but 0 lb removes also pilot from external view, what is worse even. :biggrin-new: Ian, I checked, but "landing" here is external view over the left wing, not from VC view. BUT I finally solved it, I created new pilot position and now is much better, I dont eat front panel ;). Go to (for example) to civilian version:

I can suggest you read the manual. In particular page 3. You are looking for an eye catching red box which details exactly how to remove both or either figures. RTM please! Time and effort was put into it and it answers this very question.

I would love to do that, but the time required to process a back catalogue into working MSFS while also learning a new modelling tool to a payware standard just isn't currently practical. Believe me, I'd love to get my Hustler and Blackbirds into it. In fact, there was a time when I could get my Blackbirds into it without much modification, but Asobo took away that functionality right back at one of the first updates. :rocket:

I'm still intending to release my next Blackbird for FSX as well as a P3D V5.3 specific version with PBR, render to texture RSO cockpit etc. But as noted above, not a lot of new stuff coming out for FSX.

Nice! Digging the blue. Is it just me or do some aircraft just take to painting more than others?

A new entry has been added to Add-Ons Library, category P3D / P4D Add-Ons - Paint kits and utilities Description: My rendition of a paint kit for the ISDT Beech 200, erased all logos and drawings and put rivets and lines back. No layers sorry, just a flat image. Works quite well if you use the "multiply" feature while painting though. I haven't been able to find a real paint kit for this aircraft so this is better than nothing for anyone who wants to repaint this nice freeware. These will work in FSX or P3D. Enjoy! -Delta To check it out, rate it or add comments, visit ISDT Beechcraft B200 Paintkit ISDTB200PaintKit.zip The comments you make there will appear in the posts below.

A new entry has been added to Add-Ons Library, category FSX Civilian helicopter skins Description: This is a repaint pack I have been working on. It covers some USFS contact helos in California along with a San Diego Regional Fire repaint. You will need the payware Flysimware Super Huey for these to work. Instructions included. Tested and working in FSX and P3DV4. Should work wherever the Super Huey works. H-551 pairs nicely with the Crane Flat Scenery I have released. Currently I am working on Sierra Helitack base and Heaps Peak as well.

This is actually easily doable on MSFS with a single install, using MSFS Addons Linker. I use it regularly because I have too many addons collected at this point to load everything every time -- it would take too long, and would very likely have multiple conflicts. You can save groups of add-ons as presets and then load them with two clicks. So, for example, because some planes conflict (the Constellation and F-104 have an effects conflict, for example), I have a preset for modern jet fighters, a preset for historical military planes, one for GA planes, etc. Similar presets for the US West Coast, US Southeast, UK/Ireland/France, etc. If there was a good collection of historical airports, you could easily have those and your period planes on a single preset.
