Here's a video of one of the round 2 matches from the Fight For Honor with some post match commentary from C.W. Lemoine. The winner of the tournament get s a prize and gets to fight against this guy, who is an ex F/A-18 pilot. I think he currently flies the T-38. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_fzAIN1oh8o This is a good match, between a Hornet and a Mirage. There were a surprising amount of Mirages in this competition. I got beaten by a Mirage in the second round. I actually get a mention in this video, right near the end (20:20) when he's talking about a match that was funny to watch and "painful", that was my match :biggrin-new:. Me and my opponent both lost sight so flew around for about 10 minutes trying to get a visual again. I beat another Hornet in my first round,...

It must have been that plane director he ate. :biggrin-new: Seriously, the A/B effect in your most recent video above looks great. The fire effect in the burner can especially. I hope you will make an equivalent file for use in FSX. :encouragement:

The current status of Vertigo is unknown to me, but it has been very quiet the last years. The only early B-25 which might work in FSX, I know of, is the ancient one done for FS2004 by Mike Stone. Cheers, Huub

I've added the intermediate wing struts and the step rails - also the oar has been fabricated, I just need to make the mounting brackets for it. Also have yet to rig the rudder control lines and pulleys..not to mention the non-skid strips for the float decks - on and on it goes

Jeepers, Granpappy. Getting info from you is sort of like pulling teeth from a wild horse. (Insert 'LOL' here.) If you go up two posts, you'll find some speculative ideas followed by questions. If you're looking for help, a little input could grease the wheels. Ummm...as far as I know, there's been no complaints about the floatplane in the P3D platform. However, I'm game to guess what might be the issue, if you're game to run an experiment.

Happy Birthday from a former Army Buck Sergeant! I can never thank you guys enough for everything you did for us in the "suck" 15 years ago! I can't remember how many times we had close air support from the 332nd AEW out of Balad. Can't believe it's been that long already! Hopefully this link works: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JP3whmQ_OZc Salute! :ernaehrung004: :birthday:

Thanks Allen! That's the file I was using for the final conversion to CFS2 format. It's an indispensable tool for those of us that have been pushed over to the 64-bit world! I was just wondering if anyone else was having animation issues with the work around. Either way, I'll try and fire up the old 32-bit laptop tomorrow - if it still works, that is! Here's the link to the FS2K2 MDL SDK: https://www.fsdeveloper.com/forum/resources/categories/fs2002.7/ It's not a direct link, just to the website where you can get it. It's halfway down next to the makemdl SDK. There isn't much as far as explanations of the functions, just, "Used in Combat Flight Simulator" or "Unsupported". For example, there is one in there called "pilot" that is unsupported. It also mentions the...

Hey, I was there! That's me asking Steve Hinton about flying the replica Me-262 at 1:16:40. John, were you there? The HE-111 that we, um. didn't see, was a fun surprise. :) Looked to be in great shape; full camouflage, but no national or other markings.

I have never seen any of these docs about moving guns. I can say anything you can do with MDLC you can do with DOSMdlc 2.0 http://www.sim-outhouse.com/sohforums/local_links.php?catid=49&linkid=25224 by using the DOSBox MDLC Command Line.bat

So now, 7 years later, still no sign of it on Vertigo's website or Facebook page. Nor any recent updates to either. Are they still afloat? And what is the status of this beauty? I've been waiting with bated breath for years for a good early Mitchell, and still can't even find a horrid one! If Vertigo has given this up, does anyone know where I can find even a half-way decent B/C/D model Mitchell for FSX?

Back in the day, the installer for the MAW package was detected as malware by some antivirus software. It is possible that Sky Unlimited is having the same issue. Just a possibility?
